Much evidence on Iranian support for the insurgency in northern Yemen has been registered as Iran was said to have recruited Yemeni students studying in Egypt for the insurgency.
An Egyptian deputy editor-in-chief has said that Iran was recruiting Yemeni students in Egypt, bringing some of them to its territory and paying visits to others in Egypt.
There were reports that the Iranian Cultural Attaché in Cairo was arranging the recruitment.
Information official at the Ruling Party Tariq Al-Shami said what the deputy editor-in-chief of the Egyptian Al-Ayyam Newspaper Hassan Abu Talib had said was added to evidence on Iranian support for the rebels in Yemen.
Earlier Abu Talib, specialized in Yemen affairs, said during a symposium on the Yemen rebellion crisis, there was a doubtful Iranian role over using Yemeni students in Egypt to support the Houthi rebels.
Saying that the Iranian official side can's directly be accused of supporting the Houthi rebels, Yemen earlier affirmed Iranian bodies had aided the rebels, warning of such aid and denying meddling in its affairs.
Al-Shami also talked about Iran's media warned by the Yemeni government as they showed support for the insurgency in northern Yemen, pointing to visits by rebel leaders to Iran.
Despite Iranian interference, Yemen still wants its ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran to remain good, Al-Shami said.
