Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's scathing attacks against Israel and his repeated denials of the Nazi Holocaust could be motivated by a desire to conceal his own Jewish roots, an Iran expert told The Daily Telegraph on Saturday.

The British newspaper examined the Iranian leader's identity card which he displayed in public during his country's elections in March 2008.

The ID card bears his family's original surname, Sabourjian, which is a Jewish name that means cloth weaver, according to The Daily Telegraph.

The Sabourjians have historically been concentrated in the same region of Iran where Ahmadinejad was born, according to the report.

Ahmadinejad's identity papers indicate that his family changed its name and converted to Islam after he was born, the British newspaper said.

that happened to Israel.   His recent U.N appearnce is the best proof.

A day after U.N report prepared by Goldstone, condemening Israel for war crimes during Gaza massacare came out, instead of pointing at that, Ahmadi Nejad chose instead to focus on denying hollocaust  one more time!

How it that suppose to help Palestinians?   Ahmadi Nejad's statements at crucial times makes victims out of Israelis, when infact they are the oppersors.

So whatever the reason, Ahmadi Nejad is the best friend to the oppressive policies of Israeli government.

We can say:   "With enemies like this, who needs friends?"

No he is, as he always has been, trying to HELP Israel. IRI and especially AN have always been the biggest gift from God to Israel. what better way for Israel to justify its atrocities against the Palestinians but to cry wolf about Iran? Do you really take this Israel bashing seriously?! THEY are best freinds and blood brothers and have always been. Two different colored mask of the same EVIL.
