دیدار محرمانه وزیر احمدی نژاد با همتای اسراییلی

انتشار عکس هایی ازجلسه دیدار محرمانه محمد مهدی زاهدی وزیرعلوم دولت نهم با یکی از وزرای کابینه اسراییل در سایت های مختلف اینترنتی،  بار میزان صداقت این دولت را در شعارهای ضد اسراییلی خود به موضوع بحث رسانه ها تبدیل کرد.
عکس هایی که در سایت "جهان" منتشر شده و دیگر سایت های محافظه کارنیز آن را انعکاس داده اند، زاهدی را در اتاقی همراه با وزیر اسراییلی نشان می دهد.  این درحالی است که مقامات جمهوری اسلامی همواره از حضور در جلساتی که مقامات اسراییلی نیز در آنها حضور دارند خودداری می کنند.  طی سالهای بعد از انقلاب بسیاری از ورزشکاران ایرانی که براساس قرعه دربرابر ورزشکاران اسراییلی قرار گرفته اند از رقابت با آنها خودداری کرده و از دور مسابقات حذف شده اند.

Iranian athletes have been kept from appearing at international sports events if they are to face an Israeli contender, feigning "illness."  The same requirement must not exist for "Wipe Israel Off The Map Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's" cabinet members!  Unbelievable!

News about behind the scenes relations between...

Iran and Israel has never surprised me.

What Israel is scared about far more than the non-existing A-bomb, is for an agreement between Iran and the US to come to fruition WITHOUT Israel being part of the "deal", whatever deal you can imagine.

Israel needs to be in any regional arrangement in which Iran has a role to play. Much of this is based on the fear that Iran's nascent military-industrial complex will become the prime exporter military goods and skills to Third World.

For example, the fast paced rivalry between these two countries in Africa is a big factor for Israel to look at Iran not only from the nuclear point of view, but from a much larger geo-political angle.

Iran must give Israel a horizon. That means Iran and Israel both should change their policies from, "wipe off the map" and, "regime change" to something more realistic like, "we can't do a damn thing to stop each other, so live and let live."
