Islamic Revolution Documents Center (IRDC) has made new accusations against Shapour Kazemi, Mousavi’s bother-in-law who was arrested more than a month ago.On its website, IRDC accuses Kazemi of “participating in riots” and “burning down seven motorcycles in Tehran’s Vanak Sq.” According to IRDC, Kazemi was accompanied by his “lover” who was imprisoned for eight years for “terrorist activities” as a MEK member. Alcoholic beverages and “instruments of debauchery” were reportedly found at the house Kazemi shared with his “lover.”According to IRDC, Kazemi and his “lover” have “confessed” that they were involved in “provoking” Mousavi to go to the extremes after the election. Kazemi is also accused of being in contact with the U.S. intelligence agencies.Islamic Revolution Documents Center is a research institute created to find and gather information on the history of Islamic Revolution. The head of IRDC is Ruhollah Hosseinian, who defended the main suspect in Iran’s chain murders of intellectuals.

Well, I think that is the whole point:
by rosie is roxy is roshan on Tue Aug 04, 2009 03:20 PM PDTthe charges include everything from Budweiser to dildoes to burning garbage cans to arm-twisting Mousavi to working for the CIA. The first two are not necessary per se, but they convey the message that we will cover as many bases as we can and go as far as we can.
It is also a way of saying we can get your family, your cousins, your grandmother, whoever, on morality charges. It isn't very nice. There were a couple of other new high profile arrests linked on the NIAC blog last night, including Rafsanjani's daughter-in-law for a couple of hours durnig the trial protests (another symbolic gesture) but I chose this one for these reasons.
Age old tactics
by Asghar_Massombagi on Tue Aug 04, 2009 03:13 PM PDT"Discovering" alcohol, pregnancy pills and sex toys in the arrestees houses is a tried and true tactics by intelligence agencies in Iran. The SAVAK always “found” them in safe houses of the leftist guerillas and even some of these very Islamists back in the bad ol' days of the Shah. After the revolution of course, the IRI's intelligence thugs having learned from the SAVAK (some of whose agents continued to train and serve the Islamists, wasted no time "finding" more of the same sex toys in the offices of Marxist groups and MKO. It seems these folks had nothing better to do than play sex games. Well, this is an Islamic country where a woman can still be called a whore for talking back too much, so sticking your enemies with moral depravity charge is guaranteed to work for some folks. Expect more to come as the campaign against the opposition heats up. It will turn out that Mousavi is a cross dresser and that Karrubi frequents underground Gay clubs.
