رییس ستاد کل نیروهای مسلح ادامه داد: وقتی وقایع اخیر را آسیب شناسی می‌کنیم متوجه می‌شویم که همه این ظلم‌ها و ستم‌هایی که به مردم، بسیجیان و نیروی انتظامی رفت به خاطر این بود که یک عده از جوانان ما در درس‌ وطن‌دوستی و حب وطن کم دارند و باید مراکز دانشگاهی و مراکز پژوهشی نسبت به آسیب‌شناسی جامعه کار کنند.

I think this guy is talking about a couple of incidents that happened on Thursday July 30th.

According to Washington Post:

"Police fired tear gas, attacked demonstrators with batons and smashed car windshields.  But the protesters fought back, battling hand-to-hand with security forces in some of the most violent confrontations of the summer.  In one case, three members of the much feared voluntary militia known as Basiji were beaten with their own batons after a group of opposition activists pulled them off their motorcycles near a park.  The motorcycles were set on fire, witnesses reported." 

"I saw a man throw a brick right in the face of a riot police officer. He fell on the ground," one eyewitness said. 

This is not cruelty.  It is self-defense/bravery.

I guess the protesters should try harder not to get killed and tortured
by Basij, to cause any cruelty. And when did IRI and Islam had anything
to do with patriotism.
