This film, from French documentary maker Manon Loizeau, gives a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on the protests and the Iranian government's tough response.

This documentary was just broadcast by al Jazeera on July 8. It contains extensive footage from inside the protests shot secretly after filming by journalists was banned. It has extensive interviews with many students, both protesting and at home, and with a university professor,and a Canadian journalist who was beaten by five Basiji. it captures last month's protests from a very intimate human perspective.
