In view of news from Washington that it is upgrading its diplomatic ties with Syria, Iran's close ally, the Obama administration, is clearly on the right path, irrespective of Israeli pressure to up the ante against both Tehran and Damascus. However, one cannot rule out the possibility of sudden about-turns caused by the shifting balance of arguments within the Obama administration in favor of hawkish voices such as that of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who has advocated tougher action against Iran....Overall, according to some Tehran analysts, the recent crisis in Iran over the elections has culminated in a major setback for European policy and a minor plus for the US.    He is selling his country for a few bucks to the Islamist of IRI. No wonder they kicked his butt out of Harvard and they have had a good reason to do so. Wherever Kaveh is, it is our duty to bring out his true color and let all Iranians know that he is a collaborator with IRI.

Clearly your postings are for information and good natured. I know what you mean about Asia times as Pape Escobar and Gareth Porter write in Asia times. I just think Afrasiabi has shown his true colours as an IRI lackey whereby has lost kudos. He seem to be doing a lot of insidious PR work for the Horrorwood IRI just now.

I post things that are interesting and/or unusual from important and/or interesting sources. That is why I posted this.

Asia Times is an important source and I thought the observation that Obama has curried a bit of favor with IR and EU has lost it was interesting. Asia Times noted weeks ago that when Obama made his first statement, he also began to court Syria. Things like that, Asia Times notices.
