US Likely Source of Interference in Iran's Election

We know that Bush committed several hundred million dollars towards a program creating instability in Iran and that Obama has never renounced the operation.

Iran, surrounded by threatening enemies and the daily recipient of dire threats from Israel and the United States, has absolutely no history of aggression: it has started no conflicts in its entire modern era, but naturally enough it becomes concerned about its security when threatened by nuclear-armed states.

Such threats from the United States are not regarded idly by anyone, coming as they do, from a nation occupying two nations of Western and Central Asia, a nation whose invasions have caused upwards of a million deaths and sent at least two million into exile as refugees.

It is a nation moreover that definitely threatened, behind the scenes, to use nuclear weapons against Afghanistan immediately after 9/11, helping end that threat being one of the main reasons for Britain’s joining the pointless invasion in the first place.

In assessing the genuine threats in the world, please remember what we all too often forget: the United States is the only nation ever actually to use nuclear weapons, twice, on civilians. It also came close to using them again in the early 1950s hysteria over communism – twice, once against China and once in a pre-emptive strike at the Soviet Union - and again later considered using them in Vietnam.

As for the other regular source of threats against... >>>

Thank you.  I truly mean that.  I'd be the very last to say the US is perfect or that all Americans are good and wonderful people.  It's not true.  But we do stand for right and good and I know that you understand that.  I appreciate that while we might not always agree, that we can respect one another.  That will be the key to successul negotiations between our two countries.  Maybe not in our lifetime but in our childrens.  We simply must not let people like jaleho succeed in their agenda!!!!  Evil comes in many different forms and is difficult to recognize sometimes.  I respect the Iranian culture and traditions and generally, most Iranians.  It's a fact that there always exists a few bad apples.  Would that we could just toss them out...LOL.

Again, thanks guys.  You are the ones that makes your country strong and proud.  Keep on keepin' on!

Thank you Jaleh

by anonymous fish on

for your civilized and respectful tone.  It truly defines you as a human being.  You must be very proud.

My question was legitimate.  You express distain for the US and americans on every level and at every opportunity.  You clearly don't want to live here.  You support the government of Iran and as a "true Iranian", I would assume  you miss your country.  If you believe so strongly in your regime, I simply do not understand why you continue to deprive yourself of your motherland.  I surely would not.  I would be on the first plane HOME to live in the country I hold dear... to fight for and enjoy the opportunites your glorified government has afforded you.

I am fully aware of the term "fellowship".  I, however, can prove my families' participation in medical fellowships.  All I hear from YOU is talk.

I never thought I would say this but I am ashamed of my country for not having the balls to kick people like you out of it.  I get SHIT right and left from people like you and irandokht for DARING to criticize Iran and Iranians.  HOW UTTERLY HYPOCRITICAL you both are.  You live here because you RAN AWAY from your "motherland".  You came here because of the priviledges the US offered you.

And you turn around and shit all over her.

No, I take back what I said about being ashamed.  I am PROUD of my country that it DOES offer people like a haven... a chance to live a free life.  You don't understand that... I know.  But that's cool.

What goes around, comes around.  You'll get yours.  I just wish I was there to see it.  :-)

Talk about Biting the hand that feeds you , right?

You know, i always despised and thought of those like the little fella here,as major scumbacks who so arrogantly promote and advertise their qualifications and credentials and use that as a justification to do pretty much anything, in this case, the right to live in US or any country for that matter. That is a shame and that is an embarrasment to us iranians. Some iranians come here on scholarships and fellowships and have all sorts of other financial advantages, yet they forget that it is the society that they live that helps them acheive, whatever the F...it is they are trying to acheive. They do not understand all the economical, political and social factors that may bear an impact on their success level in this or any other country .

Jaleho.

There is no such thing as earning the "right" to live anywhere. It is a priviledge. get that into your head.Your behind can be kicked, gently or rougly at any moment, ANY MOMENT, when it is deemed appropriate. those same americans whom you so rudely and shamelessly call DUMB, are the ones who approved the stinky fellowship you or someone else has received, So how about a freaking Thank you. instead of showing all this narrow-minded and caved-dwelling mentality ? Go around and see for yourself. How no longer iranians can afford to live just about anywhere in the world, and have to kiss just about any Boo gandooes ass, To get residency permit or even a F... visa. All because of the accomplishement of your hezbollahi brothers that have left no reputation or respect for iranians whereevre they go. It really takes a Poshte koohi to not even know this much and Go also check out how many americans VOLUNTARILY go and live abroad. See how open-minded and friendly and helpful they can be.

I Hope that one of these days you will be put the on the first flight to the moon, JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO, and i hope they will make it a One way trip. I hear they are starting a new Islamic movement, and they are looking for a leader.

What, you can dish it out but you can't take it?  Trademarks of a coward, just like your leaders!

I explained this to you before American wife

by Jaleho on

frankly you seem to be too dumb to retain it!

As I told you, unlike dumb Americans who have to work all their lives to save for their kid's university education, smart foreigners like many Iranians are paid to come and study in the US; fellowship, do you understand?

And, after they get a top degree, they can live with high standards that many Americans dream of, but can't afford. AND, I do like my American janitors better than the phillipino one that my mom has in Iran.

So, smart Iranians have earned the RIGHT to live where ever IN THE WORLD they desire, and they have the talent to know more than one language too. WE CHOOSE, unlike dumb Americans who can't even speak their own language properly, so they can't afford to live other places, finacially or intellectually. We can live part of lives here, part in Iran that we love, and travel to other parts of the world too, ta cheshme hassod beterekeh. Some Iranians even decide to go to the moon for a short trip,  just because they WANT TO.

Hope that satisfies your foozooli bija. Ask your "azizam" to translate that for you, although even a perfectly dumb American having your attitude should have heard that phrase enough to understand its meaning.

"no shame" is exactly right.  To dishonor the efforts of the brave Iranian women and men who are fighting for their very freedom IN IRAN by spouting this bullshit is exactly NO SHAME.  And to have the usual suspects show up with their support of the IRI is even worse.

Regardless if you like or dislike the US, this is SHAMEFUL to suggest that those brave protestors are nothing more than sheep being lead.  For to suggest that this effort is foreign led, one would have to deduce that the Iranian people have been LED for the last 2400 years.  Who has led them for the last 30 years?  Who has deprived the women of Iran basic freedoms and basic rights?  WHO IS THE GOVERNMENT OF IRAN?  I assure you, it's NOT a foreign agency.

Why are you here Jaleh?  You hate the US and you support the IRI.  Why are you here?  I just don't understand.  Believe me, NO ONE is forcing you to stay.  You condone every action by the IRI and yet you live in the very cesspole of humanity (by your account).

Why?  Why aren't you living in Iran supporting your people?  Believe me, I am begging you to explain this.  If I were being forced to live in a country that I hated with such a passion and I had a chance to go live in the land of my birth and where I supported that government... NOTHING WOULD KEEP ME FROM HOME.  So why?

Please, I am pleading for you to explain this to me!!!

Do these guys ever have an argument or a debate when they feel writing a comment to a news or a blog, or do we have to smell the stench of their dirty mouth everytime they open it?!!

Shah Gollam, thanks for providing an epsilon of alternative to the flood of one sided propaganda of the western media.

No Decency or Shame

by Anonymous XXX (not verified) on

Didnt't your parents teach you an ounce of decency, sharaf, haya or humanity to prevent you from supporting a bunch of murderous thugs?

Who the f##k is this blogger that you quote here, and since when some lunatic fringe's blabbering became "news", especially one who quotes IRI propoganda agents like Kaveh Afrasiabi.

You know what "Americans" [actually, Basiji hooligans, but let's call them Americans becuase Americans are the ones who are doing all the killings in Iran] were doing today in Tehran? They were beating up agroup a middle aged women who had gathered in the Park Mellat to protest the detention of their sons and daughters by the government.

What is so surreal when one reads the BS that is written on this site by IRI thugs like you is seeing how detached and out of touch you are from the Iranian people inside Iran (may be that's how they can beat and kill people on the streets without having any second thoughts). If you tell this BS to any Iranian on any street, in any city in Iran you will either get laughed at or punched (depending on how angry the person is). But here, you sound like an intellectual posting this hot air [gooz in Farsi]!

So, get a life, "shah gholam". Better yet, pick up that Quran that you believe in and do a few prayers. Perhaps God will forgive you for supporting a bunch of thugs, rapists, torturers and murderers.
