Speaking live on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Channel 2 on Saturday, the speaker said that "a majority of people are of the opinion that the actual election results are different than what was officially announced." "The opinion of this majority should be respected and a line should be drawn between them and rioters and miscreants," he was quoted as saying by Khabaronline -- a website affiliated with him

Souri

even the French TV (France2) said this today!

by Souri on

But do  you follow the news On the French TV, France2 ?

In their today report, Renaud Bernard  said it clearly that Khamenehee MAY BE right about the British, because Britain did the same thing in Georgie and in Yougolsavia, and they just did succeed!!

In France2 news today, they have portrayed Mousavi as a revolutionary hero!! and a very popular reformative political face in Iran.

So much for the impartiality and integrity of the French journalism!!

Thank you for posting this.
His comments are important, but he said "qesmate Omdeh" of Iranian people, which I thinks means a large part and not "majority."
Still, it is an important push back against his former boss and the supreme leader.

Ostaad

DK, are you OK?

by Ostaad on

Why are you all bent out of shape because an Iranian badmouthed England?!!! Show me a single Iranian who's not either doing it right now, or hasn't done it at least a dozen times during his/her lifetime.

Why are you worried about who said what about England and "imperialism", little man?! What are your stakes in England's reputation among Iranians?

I don't care if he talks out of of both sides of his mouth or both cheeks of his ass. As long as his farts said what he said about the majority that's good enough for now.

As far as his England nonsense goes, let him talk.

Meantime BBC will keep unjamming with stiff upper lip.

"That's why she's England."

He sees the writing on the wall

by saving his skin (not verified) on

Larijani is the only member of this govt that has a brain. He sees the writing on the wall: The Islamic Republic is dead. Anyone that wants to save their own skin needs to show their support for the revolutionaries. Larijani is too closely associated with Khamenei and will most likely face trial when this govt is brought down in the next four months. He is making sure people know he recognizes the situation in hopes that it will save him.

Darius Kadivar

And he Just accused the UK of "Imperialism" ...

by Darius Kadivar on

They All Belong to the Same Corrupt establishment.

Larijani is NO MODERATE.

They just announced on FRench TV that the BBC correspondent was kicked out of Iran and that the UK was responsible for the riots.

//news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/8111638.stm

Larijani Started making an aggressive speach against Great Britain for interfering in Iran's affairs.

HAMASHOON PEDAR SOOKHTEH HASTAND !

Don't Believe that they don't approve the Velayateh Fagih. They just are trying to save their skin.
