A secret U.S.-Israel accord on nukes?

The origins of the U.S. shield of Israel's nuclear program date to a 1969 summit between President Nixon and Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir, documents released in the past few years show.

There is no one piece of paper that actually describes the accord.
However, the closest acknowledgment of the deal came in 2007, when the Nixon Library declassified many of the papers of former National Security Adviser Henry Kissinger. A July 7, 1969, memorandum to Mr. Nixon titled, "Israeli Nuclear Program," said that by the end of 1970, Israel would likely have 24 to 30 French surface-to-surface missiles, 10 of which would have nuclear warheads.

Irankho: Since large part of this blog is spent on Israel, I have made it abundantly clear. my (and other Israelis) objective is to present the Israeli side of the story vis-a-vis Palestinians.

With so much venom and outright disinformation perpetuated by the self admitted IRI of its virulent hatred to  Israel, it is all appropriate  for readers to read both sides of the story, and make up their own mind.

Capt. had I not known people like you as well as I do, I probably would take you threat in different context. Unfortunate to you is, I do, and I  know all too well, what it really means, when a Middle Eastern man "warns" you.(all bark, no bite)

a) I am not here to demonstrate to pozz gollah like you who is more stupid. rather, to communicate, and share my views on a particular subject which is dear to me with others. Just as much as Iran is important to (to which I fully respect), state of Israel is important to me.

Therefore, whenever I read a derogatory comment from anyone here, I feel obliged to reply as best as I could. Some agree with my views, some don't - that is fine. Your virulent attacks merit a special attention, and response.

b) Please, spare me your threats. I am old enough and have seen people like you before. I don't have neither the  patience, nor the desire to read "threats". Those who are capable to engage in polemics on an informative and  intellectual level, don't use, nor see a need to use threats against those whom they don't agree with. It seems that,  you don't have it. That is when people like you resort to threats, or outright hatred  to get their pov across to the other side,

Try your intimidation and see what happens.

As the saying goes. Barking dog, never bites. Go ahead and try me with your bellicose attitude.

I think amongst all the obsessive behaviors seen around here, the one who does not consider Iran "his country" and yet spends as much time as you do on iranian.com website leaving heated and hateful comments wins the prize!

doesn't your own country the state of israel (your words) have its own webpage where you can be surrounded with like-minded folks and save yourself from all this unnecessary aggrevation? and khoda nakardeh an early heart attack?

Capt_ayhab - you are an obsessed man

by Mehdi Mazloom on

You are obsessed with my country, state of Israel. What happen agha, an Israeli woman had turned you down for a date, or what.

Shouldn't you spend your time and talent on ways to improve the miserable conditions in Iran, instead of looking at other people's dirty laundry.?
