When a group of Jewish liberals formed a lobbying and fundraising group called J Street a year ago, they had modest hopes of raising $50,000 for a handful of congressional candidates. Instead, the group's political arm ended up funneling nearly $600,000 to several dozen Democrats and a handful of Republicans in 2008, making it Washington's leading pro-Israel PAC, according to Federal Election Commission expenditure records. Organizers say 33 of the group's 41 favored House and Senate candidates won their races

More Power to those guys! After all I'd prefer to see them than the neocons! That being said, what is wrong with what I said except making a case about their power in this country? Am I wrong?

YOU'RE TOTALLY WRONG! IN THIS COUNTRY ONE CAN CRITICIZE ANYONE AND ANY COUNTRY INCLUDING THE US AND US PRESIDENT, BUT THET DON'T DARE PUBLICALLY CRITICIZE ISRAEL OR THE ZIONISTS! oh yes, only in the last couple of years there were couple of books critical of israel! I am sure THEY tried very hard to stop the release of the books but they were not able to! One by president carter and one by Harvard professor! And you know what happend to them! Sure you do! They were crucified, and demonized! Give me a freeking break!

They control the whole media and everything in between and propegate anti-Iran, anti Arab, anti moslem anti anyone or anything that is anti Israel and you tell me you couldn't talk against islam? Do you think, we are that dumb that we cannot see what is going here?

Zionists are the biggest criminal entity in the world, not the little mafia! they are the reason for many wars in the 20th century. You want to argue against it? Go ahead! Make my day! Yourself is a clear example! As soon as I said something against the Zionists you had to try to shut me up! I am thankful for internet! You can't!

Really Gol-Dust? There is not a place on this planet where one can talk about Muslims, Arficans or Arabs the way these groups openly talk about Jews. I wrote this great book called Protocols of A Muslim Named Mohammed. It's kinda like Protocols of Zion, yet accurate. It is banned EVERYWHERE in the Muslim world and in the west it is demonized as "racist" (although Islam isn't a race). I thought you people HATE double standards. Why do you always ban anything that speaks about Muslims and Arabs the way you talk about Jews.

Last I knew Jesse Jackson wasn't Jewish yet he has succeeded in ruining the careers of 3 successful men last year for using the same word (nigger) that he himself used to describe Obama.

Americans. The cracks has appeared among the supporters of Israel in USA. There are many Jewish workers among the 4000 people where I work. Many of them are visitors from Israel who are there to work for a year or two and go back to Israel.

And then, there are the American Jews who are mostly liberal and pro peace. They are educated, well read and friendly. J Street will give a voice to this last group. They know well what's being done by the rulers of Israel is not good for the people of United States, Middle East or even Israeli Jews. More power to J Street boys and gals. About time we had some Jewish people who were also decent. Tired of the typical paranoid, money motivated disgusting stereotype we usually see on TV and other media. I hope they gain a lot of support by everyone.
