Iran's oppressive practices will only bring about the demise of its ruling regime

The arrest of American journalist Roxana Saberi exposes Iran's Achilles heel, a weakness so fatal that it might one day lead to the downfall of the Islamic Republic. Saberi, who has worked as a freelance journalist in Iran and elsewhere in the Middle East for the last six years, has been accused of spying for the United States, a charge that can carry the death penalty if she is convicted. But Saberi's profile hardly fits that of a typical espionage agent. A former beauty queen who held the Miss North Dakota title and was a top-10 finalist in the Miss America pageant, Saberi double majored in French and communication at a small-town college in Minnesota.

Osaad, me and the Mullahs

Are you kidding?. If you take the Maulllahs (particulary Janati) from me, I will be crying all day. They are a source of good and  healthy entertainment.

In regards to FM, there are many Israelis themselves who also raised their eyebrows when he was nominated to FM.

My good man, when it come to "democracy", you would WISH Iran would have the same type of democracy, where no leader is above the law, anyone and every one can run for office, w/o being pre-qualified for his loyalty to the regime. Has Iran been as democratic, today we would not have problem of subversion, and support of terror groups, as we have them today.

Mazloom, do yourself a favor

Leave the "akhoondah" to the Iranians and try to do some hol dadan with the ultra right wing, extremist gang of yabu and his racist pig FM. The fact that a "democratic" nation elects such scum in a "free and open" election is a disgrace to all decent Jews.

naa baba, inn akhoodah yeh-kamm komak mikhan.

They need a little push over the cliff, to make sure they are gone and gone for good.

History always repeats itself. No (political, idiological, or relgious) fundemetalist regime had lasted mopre then few decads in power. This regime in Tehran is no different.

Ajaleh nakon, khodesh khoshk misheh myofteh. Just in case someone needs the English translation: don't rush, it'll dry up and fall off by itself.

Ajaleh kaareh sheitaan ast. Haste is devil's work.

No one can argue with that outcome.

Just the slow pace with which it happens.
