Don't pity the Palestinians

Just as a crying baby who only elicits pity will continue to cry, the citizens of Gaza will continue to cry out to the world instead of taking matters into their own hands. As long as they are told that they are helpless victims or mere pawns at the hands of terrorists, Gazans will only see their suffering prolonged. The residents of Gaza, and the Palestinians as a whole, say they would like their own state. Yet such state must be earned.

I myself am still speechless

by Iranian Reader on

but here's an articulate guy (formerly?) from Israel: Gilad Atzmon, "Living on Borrowed Time in a Stolen Land." He quotes an IDF intelligence general: "In order to win, all Palestinians have to do is to survive."

If I were religious I would pray for the survival of Palestinians. And I hope Iran doesn't allow itself to get too provoked.

Hamas = Taleban = IRI

The sooner we get rid of them the better for everyone.

It does not even work

Its a myth, its old wives tale to let the children cry themselves to sleep. In fact research has shown children who are attended to, grow up to be more self confident and socially adjusted. Its a myth and it definitely should be avoided, and I know.

Once again, the victims are to blame

by Q on

why can't the whiny Palestinians just die in silence? Why do they have to cry about it? Cry babies don't get a state!
