بدینوسیله به اطلاع افکار عمومی میرسانیم، احمد باطبی عضو کادر مرکزی مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ایران و از شناخته شده ترین چهرهای جنبش دانشجویی و زندانیان سیاسی در سه دهه اخیر حکومت جمهوری اسلامی در پی اقدامات جدید و تهدیدات روزافزون دستگاه امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی در فروردین ماه سال جاری با پایان یافتن مرخصی استعلاجی خود و در آستانه بازگشت به زندان جهت ادامه حکم ۱۵ سال زندان خود ناچار به خروج از ایران گردید.

Why is there no other website confirming this?

I searched online and I can't find any news of his freedom even on the blogs and websites that were made for him or had supported him in the past.

It sounds fishy... last thing we heard was that he was very sick in prison.

He left more than a  month ago? I wonder where he is. You'd think he'd be giving interviews.
