as I was looking at all
by an Iranian (not verified) on Wed Feb 13, 2008 11:30 AM PSTas I was looking at all these beautiful/handsome faces, I was thinking how many more of them will leave Iran soon and take the scholarships that are offered to them from the best universities around the world. It is a shame that most will not find space to grow in Iran and find leaving their country and families the only way to help themselves.
as usual fights here
by Farz (not verified) on Wed Feb 13, 2008 10:47 AM PSTI am not even going to look @ the pictures since I hate them all... as "scared" has said "they ARE" a bunch of idiot(bache mollah) does not matter how smart they are they frame of mind belongs to 2000 years ago and they worship IRI. Otherwise they would have been "Paksazi" and not be able to attend university in Iran. I finished high school in Iran and because of my religious believes was not allowed to go to university there... guess who is the winner now.. I am finished with a Comp/Math degree a secure job and good income living in a FREE country where my kids are not persecuted for their belief. In U of T these so called shrif university geniuses used to come and take classes they all wanted to see if they could stay in Canada and don't go back to Iran,,, talking about brain drain.
Nice group of kids!
by IRANdokht on Wed Feb 13, 2008 10:37 AM PSTI don't remember engineering students ever to be so "cool" looking!!
and it does look like the dress codes at the universities have loosened up a lot.
Good luck to all of them, only the young students can lead the country towards a better future.

You're such a prejudiced and ignorant anti-Iranian dork. Yup, you went to that university (sure), and based on the same reasoning I guess I must own the Brooklyn bridge.
I will ignore your comments from now on (for you're another anti-Iranian racist a@#$%^le in this place).
Scared: lol
by XerXes (not verified) on Wed Feb 13, 2008 09:29 AM PSTlol o zahre maar. We are not fuming, we are wondering how shallow and stupid one can be, that's all. And by your last response, with your weird comment I guess you made it clear. dayee jaan napelon says:
un chizi keh hadi nadaareh khariyate, khariyat.
I really hope that you are raising your kids right, you don't seem like a fit mother. But I guess I have seen worse in the buses that at times I take!
Scared you are welcomed
by Daryush on Wed Feb 13, 2008 09:21 AM PSTAnd come back and see us anytime you wish. We are delighted to teach idiots some lessons in everything possible. I feel bad for your husband but better him than an Iranian guy.
By they way, don't be scared next time you look at yourself, use some makeup ;)
Hope your kids get in college, otherwise they can work for any one of us in the future. moch moch. lol
lol
by sacred (not verified) on Wed Feb 13, 2008 09:05 AM PSTso funny....IRI rats seem fuming! you're so easy to be manipulated...incredible!...lol
Anyway, I'm not really dying to go back to Iran...
Go ahead and feel heroic and spend your life fuming over the whole world hating you, but i'm enjoying my freedom, my job security, my comfortable life and my good looking (non iranian) guy! (oh...didn't i tell you I am a woman?) and i'm so happy my kids are growing up here, not over there. And I make sure to let them know how iran really was and how iranian guys look like...Hey, I can use these same pictures. They prove my point to my older daughter (if she decides to date an Iranian)
Thank you IRI for giving me the opportunity of not rotting in hell, not having to see the ugly faces of rish o pashmaloo shahidzadehs and being able to make fun of their minus 80 IQ...freely!!!!
Happy fuming!
By the way, Scared

Hmmm, not that bright, despite your claim to the contrary. Is that what happened? Was that paak-saazee during the revolution for "racial cleansing"?
And you claim you were a student of Aryamehr/Sharif University?
Please do the students of that university a favor, don't tell anyone you attended it (IF you ever did).

intolerant, dictatorial & presumptive attitude
by Anonymous2387324 (not verified) on Tue Feb 12, 2008 11:02 PM PSTYou're in no position to tell me what is or is not proper to criticize. You need to shed that attitude to dictate to others what to say or not, and instead try to present your viewpoint in a rational, mature way. To me name is a subject for criticism since it bears witness to the grander concept of cultural metamorphisis under IRI towards arab-zadegi. It was a side observation as it related to their photos & names. Anyways, this topic has been needlessly derailed by your remarks, and this post concludes it for me.
They are just a bunch of bacheh shahid
by scared (not verified) on Tue Feb 12, 2008 10:28 PM PSTLooking at their ugly looks and dirty faces, they should be from the family of Shohada. It means they are not really that smart either, but they get in good university "easily"...maybe because of their rish-o-pashm and booye aragh....Should be a bunch of bacheh akhoond or even worse shahidzadeh....lol
The real smart ones are already here among us, hired by great Us companies, etc. and thanks God, they don't stink!
Mr. Anonymous23....
by kimia on Tue Feb 12, 2008 10:20 PM PSTIranians are intolerant of criticism, yet name is not a subject to criticize. Look at it in a different perspective. In the US, I assume you are in the US; In a educational setting, people generally don't mention race or ethnicity of the students. (It is politically incorrect) Nagofteh namanad ke some Iranians do categorize people.
I did not get any info on their integrity, identity so on by the photos, except that they are intelligent group of people according to the sender of the photo, yet I respected their identity by not critizing their name which is part of their identity.
You do not like Arabic names, just keep it to yourself, how would you feel if someone said oh I despise persian names (it feel like attacking you huh!)
Again peace to you. Keep calm. I am only criticizing you because I care. Don't be intolerant of criticism!
Peace
to kimia
by Anonymous2387324 (not verified) on Tue Feb 12, 2008 09:13 PM PSTWhy are Iranians so intolerant of any kind of criticism? Where did I say that I did not respect them intelectually? Why can't I express what I think, besides the obvious here? Why can't I express that I dislike seeing many Arabic names?
names are not important, their intellect, integrity, identity and so on (hope you get the picture) is valuable.
And how did you exactly get the integrity & identity thing from the photos???
Hala to ke esmet anonymous hast che goli be saret zadi?
How is my name ( assumed or real)relates to this topic anyways??? Dar zemn, "peace" beh ammat, boro peyeh karet!

names are not important, their intellect, integrity, identity and so on (hope you get the picture) is valuable.
Moreover, so what if their names are arabic_so was Abu Ali Sina,Jalal al Din Rumi, Mohammad Mosadegh, Abu Reyhan Biruni....
OPEN YOUR MIND PELEAAAAAZE!
Peace!
And most of them will leave the country
by Ali Sefati (not verified) on Tue Feb 12, 2008 05:43 PM PSTIt's called Brain Drain. The country can't keep them there and they end up coming to US or other advanced countries for jobs and free dome.
Btw I agree with everyone you should have put their specialty and interest there.
Remember they did NOT choose their names,We love them All
by Persian (not verified) on Tue Feb 12, 2008 04:51 PM PSTWhatever their names are we are proud of them and love them. Good luck to them all.
