Payam...

by HollyUSA on

I'm confused by your comment here. You wrote in another post yesterday and I quote 'I have told you before and tell you once again that I personally condone any military action on Iran, by whom it might be.'  To make matters worse, the subject of the exchange was Israel so I take it you wouldn't be opposed to military action by them against iran either. Care to explain where exactly you stand with regard to Iran and the Iranian people and their best interest??

Great banner...

by Emil on

Great banner...

The first banner /picture says it all....great... The word Iran is at the end of the English text for foreigners to see what Islamic Republic we are talking about.... It is not needed with the Farsi text, since Iranians already know that...

Hope this cleared some of the misunderstanding / confusion here..

FYI/DON'T BOMB MY COUNTRY by Reza Pahlavi (Telegraph.co.uk)

by Darius Kadivar on

Latest Article By Reza Pahlavi the Former Crown Prince of Iran:

Supporting the people is the best route to blocking Iran's Bomb, says Reza Pahlavi (Telegraph.co.uk)

"By supporting the Iranian people and their struggle for human rights, by elevating the importance of their liberties, the West will find its greatest ally on the nuclear issue. Empowering the opposition movement will encourage and prolong internal dissent, and sustaining that internal unrest is the key to cracking the clerical code.

While sanctions can in fact prove to be a useful tool in the shed of diplomacy, they result in the suffering of a nation's citizens, victimising the innocent many for the sins of the stubborn few. For sanctions to truly be effective in Iran, human rights have to be put on equal footing with the nuclear concern. Many of my Iranian compatriots have indicated to me that they would be willing to add to their hardships in the short term only if they believe that sanctions will curtail the lifespan of clerical oppression and cure their want of human rights."

Why Iran?

by IRANdokht on

They could have eliminated the word Iran in the English text like they did in the Farsi text. (Title picture)

Obviously not the green movement, why do others try to sabotage the movement with their every move?

A lot of people were there! Yeah! Thank you for taking protest pictures!

Is that the MKO leader's picture in the background in picture #12, the lady with blue hijab?

Thanks for sharing!

First picture needs more explanation indeed.

Condemning islamic republic is one thing, putting Iran at the end of the same condemnation is something totally diffrent. Which Iranian can carry such a banner? I am really disappointed in those "hamvatans".

Shame on

by Asghar_Massombagi on

whoever was responsible for the banner in nydar001, for coupling "Down With..." with "Iran", whereas the Persian reads only "islamic Republic".  Isn't this country's image under enough assualt without its allegedly well intentioned ex-patriots adding to it?  Who are these guys anyway?

It could've been a lot better if not for that long Qaddafi rant.
