Knuckleheads be gone...
by aryamehr11 on Thu Dec 06, 2007 10:58 AM PSTAgain the knuckleheads and dumwits show up to show their biorzegi. How can one tell these knuckleheads and dumwits that members of Armed Forces are not trained to handle internal disturbances? How can one convince these ignorant people that this is the job of trained anti-riot police of which Iran at that time had none! The Imperial Armed Forces of Iran were there to protect the territorial integrity of Iran and they did a damn good job in doing so- to be all wiped out in one day when that Kashmiri-Brit Khomeini supported by these knuckleheads and traitors decided to provocate a war with Saddam Hussein! In which the first act of these enemies of Iran was to execute all the heads of Iran's Imperial Armed Forces!

To all idiots
by MRX (not verified) on Thu Dec 06, 2007 08:26 AM PSTMajority of you can't even perform a two years militery serivce and that's why you try so hard to skip it, much less becomming general!. For some one to reach that rank that means more than 30 years of soldiering, dedication, education and hard work to get there. All of it which is a foreign concept to you bums. your greatest achievement is to pass judgement on the people that you don't know, you never met over the internet. If your mentality is shared by majority of Iranian public, then let's hope islamic republic last a thousand years!
Kurdish warrior, just because....
by The real soldier (not verified) on Thu Dec 06, 2007 08:01 AM PSTKurdish warrior, just because a handful of generals did not come up to the standards, that does not mean they were all bad. We had a lot of good generals ( and other members of the armed forces) who had nothing to do with the revolution or Shah and yet they were put in front of the firing squad. They were not rich and most had got there after 30 years of soldiering. Most Iranians cannot even take two years of national service and they do anything and everything to get out if it.
If you didn't know a good number of them, then be like a true and proud Kurd and don't be hasty in passing judgement.
The vast majority of the generals (as well as other members of the armed forces) were good men who lost their lives for services to their country
Don't defame their names.
Kurdish warrior.........those who do not.........
by Sasha on Thu Dec 06, 2007 04:00 AM PSTThose who do not learn from the past will repeat the past. It is why we study about history as children and when some of us go to univesity. In my case I am always learning more about the past of different cultures. It gives one a different perspective in many things. :o)

who are we kidding
by kurdish warrior (not verified) on Thu Dec 06, 2007 03:16 AM PSTIran hasn't been a country with democracy for more than 100 years....these generals only look after themselves rather than the country. We need to stop looking at the past.
To all the idiots like DARIUSH HAGHA, , General zadeh, Kaveh....
by The real soldier (not verified) on Thu Dec 06, 2007 02:49 AM PSTThe job of the generals was to keep Iran safe from and during foreign aggression, so that dirt bags and dimwits like you could live safe from foreign bombs, missiles and soldiers' boots. When you killed them, you destroyed the army and we ended up having an eight year war, killing at least 500,000 Iranians and maiming a lot more.
Their job was not to interfer in politics because Shah and his political opponents as well as your dumb parents who supported one side or another, could not work out their differences in a normal manner and with a dialogue.
So don't ever defame their names. They were the true patriots. Not like a-hole politicians who were all in it for their own personal gains and ended up f---ing Iran. With the help of dumb people like you I might add.
Get your heads out of your backside and see the world around better. Dimwits.
Now, Moraad........:o)
by Sasha on Thu Dec 06, 2007 01:22 AM PSTJust because he puts up the pictorials does not necessarily mean he is proud of it, as you refer to it. He is simply sharing the past with those on the website. For example, people like me who is not Iranian. I think you would call me a "khareji". who needs to learn about Iranian political history.

by Sasha on Wed Dec 05, 2007 07:55 PM PSTThank you for this pictorial and others. It helps me to see who the figures of Iranian political history were. Good or bad they were part of Iranian history and no one can deny this.

by Goozolmoke Saaheb Divaani (not verified) on Wed Dec 05, 2007 02:01 PM PSTCan you name ONE (not even two) major militaristic achievement of General Arfa in the battlefield? Why we Iranians like this guy Kadivar love to suck so much?
