Friendly surprise

Photo essay: An American's journey in Iran

by Jake Jacobson
01-Apr-2009

[During my visit to Morelia, Mexico, last month, I met Jake Jacobson, a pleasant and worldly American. He said he had traveled to Iran last year and was greatly surprised by how friendly the people were towards him and other American tourists. I asked Jake to share some of his photographs with iranian.com readers. Enjoy! -- J. Javid]

Ordinary and exquisite

Dear Jake thank you. You have captured such beauty, particularly those involving ordinary people in ordinary places doing their ordinary things.

What's this person's fascination with khar?

by Anonymous Observer on

Can you ask him please JJ and let us know? And also if Mr. Jacobsen loves pictures of khars so much, why didn't he go to Qom,  and specifically Hozeyeh Elmiyeh, and take more pictures of them? :-)
