You're welcome, everyone!

American Wife

Thank you!

by American Wife on

Azadeh for bringing a little bit of home to me.  Living in California, the land of no seasons, I miss the beautiful changing of the leaves.  When we flew into Raleigh/Durham last November, I was breathless with the beauty of the gold and red maples.  It was a blanket of warm, rich colors.  Wonderful, simply wonderful!

Just A little Closer: Tight Tango

by A Hassan Danesh (not verified) on

great work ...Azadeh... now the next task before you is to get closer and closer in tight tango with the trees to see their leaves in extreme close up one by one until you see their blood veins running to spread share food to all the region even the most inaccessible one that you can hardly detect the invisible extreme tiny veinn under microscope...

Next Project: Leaf instead of leaves this time...

Hurry at once! hurry!

And that's why I live where I live, where I can see all seasons.

I can never live in a one or two season place.

Thanks, they are very warm

Beauty

by AmirAshkan Pishroo on

I don't know how to articulate beauty. --Me Myself

Beauty is somewhat a given shape to a multiplicity. Therefore, it is notoriously transitory, because if you add or deduct one element to that multiplicity, you have destroyed it. Death is the frame of beauty.

The Anxiety of Influence

by AmirAshkan Pishroo on

It's the time when we try so hard to find a real meaning to life – our life -by accentuating our differences and so to define our inimitability.--Azarin

I want to spell out the consequences of your profound philosophical claims that to lose that difference is, I take it, what any poet, anyone who hopes to create something new, fears.

To lose that difference means one will not really have had an I at all.

This is what Harold Bloom calls "the strong poet's anxiety of influence," his "horror of finding himself to be only a copy or a replica." (Bloom, The Anxiety of Influence, 1973: p.80.)

Azarin Sadegh

My dear Azadeh,

by Azarin Sadegh on

By looking at your vivid pictures of autumn, and the sight of so many magnificent tree leaves- each of them unique in its shape and color- I realized why our midlife crisis is the age of our last rebellion. It's the time when we try so hard to find a real meaning to life – our life -by accentuating our differences and so to define our inimitability…right before the coldness of winter and the storm of death take our last breath away.

Amazing work!

Azarin

These are absolutely beautiful, Azadeh Jan! "Earth on Fire," was what I thought about the imagery. I assume these pictures were taken in Canada. Whereabouts? Thank you so very much for sharing.
