The unique Iranian sportsman

by Khebedin on

The unique Iranian sportsman character " Shiveh Mardanegi" is still alive in Iran. I have not seen such minds anywhere else in the world. It is worth a lot more than many gold medals. He was almost shocked to hear the question, and very politely said:  من بدی حریفم را نمی‌خوام

Congratulations.

In the second interview:

Interviewer: "Weren't you pleased the others started messing up and losing? Did you jump up and down with joy? The Russians and the Poles were looking very happy when you lost!"

Kianoush Rostami: "Not really, I never pray for anyone to lose. Friendly competition is much more beautiful to me."

What a beautiful soul!

It is much better to have non-iranians involved in our affairs than the so called iranians.

Thanks yolanda. Your work and supports makes up for all the ill effects some others exact on this site.

"how much more peaceful can a nation go?!"

by yolanda on

Many nations don't have mandatory military service! In Iran, only the Olympic medalists can skip military service! So far, only one man does not need to serve in the military! Wow!
