It has become an issue because

it appears that the loot is not being shared among the thieves. Also, may be , just may be the ruling thievs can smell trouble and know that their time is limited, so the looting has accelerated by all factions and those who are slow or don't have access to big money feel left out.
Either way, the average Iranian is screwed as he/she has been for the past 30 plus years.
