Ahmadinejad Slams European "puppets" of U.S.

They "immediately repeat whatever their master says"

Reuters - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday denounced European countries that are tightening sanctions on Iran as puppets of a U.S. master and said he was surprised at their moves to isolate Tehran's central bank. "We have had no relations with America for the past 32 years so we had no relationship with them yesterday and won't have tomorrow," Ahmadinejad said in a speech broadcast live on state television. "But we are surprised by these European puppets, who immediately repeat whatever their master says like impotent servant." >>>

Cousin Framarz jaan: Happy Thanks Giving…

So the way I see it, unless both sides are willing to holster their gun, drink a big ice cold glass of water and sit down to work it out the way they did with their other adversaries or continue with the duel that they have got themselves locked in and go the Iraq/Vietnam route, these two nations will be at odds just like with Cuba for many years to come.

I guess what I am trying to say is that, as much as we (you and I) like to see this Regime to be frightened and frustrated, the reality on the ground is different and they probably strive from such hostility.  People on the other hand is a different story for them.

Happy TG.

So Far the West is doing everything it can toManufacture Support

For the IRI Regime within Iran. Most people do not support IRI (with exception of being under hostility from west over nuclear knowhow as allowed by the NPT).  The West is very Intelligent in not using human rights in Iran as the primary basis for pressuring the regime, that approach would lead them down a path of Regime Change, which is clearly the last thing the USA wants. The love affair by the USA for the IRI has deep roots and is based on the idea of how to stop the evolution of a people and inflict backwardness and poverty upon them.  The IRI serves a genuine constituency in the USA better than any other system ever could, US Imperialists can't be blamed for Loving Islam For Iran.

LOL! Did he really say "impotent servant"?

"Servant" is enough! Why did he have to mention "potency"?

I guess he think he is potent!

Empty Words, Hollow Threats

The Regime looks quite frightened and frustrated. The phony smiles and fake confidence has gone and their language is more and more gutter and undiplomatic.
