Ahmadi nejad & the comments in iranain.com
by Khebedin on Thu Mar 03, 2011 01:16 AM PSTHow sad to see people commenting so childishly. These Iranians are wasting their time. You all, with such comments, make me appreciating and like Ahmadinejad. Be clever and do what is fair and right.

It is good to watch for smirks and rolling of eye in audience

DO NOT QUIT YOUR DAY JOB!
by Dariush Kabir on Tue Mar 01, 2011 11:22 PM PSTHe butchered some those verses. The person who wrote this speech for him did not even bother to coach him, he could not even read those poems right. Did this guy even finish high school?
Mahmud: please DO NOT QUIT YOUR DAY JOB! you are only good at a few things "murder, torture, steeling election, fabricating the truth, and destroying Iranian culture", leave poetry and culture to decent people.

this is amazing footage
by pas-e-pardeh on Tue Mar 01, 2011 06:45 PM PSTHe is reciting great poems and not so bad a delivery. It could pass for a decent lecture. I can also see he is a showman and he is basking in the limelight.
Since I know him to be a vile character, then this can not be good for Persian poetry.
Why is it that even vile humans appreciate Persian poetry? Isn't Persian literature then just a pretty canvas for anyone to paint themselves onto? For anyone to find high words to support any truth? Even a dictator can use it to justify his reality.
(This is also good material for a psychoanalyst to study before giving his recommendations to the court that will eventually try this man. )
