His book was published on Jun 7. Currently, it ranks #113 on Amazon, doing very well, beating out Roxanna Saberi's book and Jasmin Darznik's book, The Good Daughter!

Fareed Zakaria and Shirin Ebadi praised his book.

Great interview, thanks Ghormeh for posting.

Maziar Bahari had some funny points such as how they were concerned with him being fan of Pauly Shore. I also liked how he paid tribute to his father and his sister. And it was interesting when he noted how just a comment by a prison guard gave him hope.

We need People Like Maziar to voice for our political prisoners.  I am glad he is doing it.

What a great interview!......they respect and admire each other so much! I do hope they will make a movie out of Bahari's book!

Both of them are funny and they genuinely care about Iranians!

Thank you for posting!

the third video talks about the vigils in the west to free him, and how that gave him hope.  that is why it is important to keep the names of prisoners alive in order to keep them alive.

Humble guy, cute too!

I liked how he didn't try to make a big deal out of his own captivity and didn't forget the rest still in regime's prisons.
