Rezaei-Nejad's assassination is "ambiguous", Intelligence minister says

Daily Star: TEHRAN: Iran Sunday accused the United States and Israel of masterminding the assassination of an academic in Tehran, Dariush Rezaei-Nejad. There were conflicting reports Sunday over Rezai-Nejad’s expertise, his possible involvement with the Iranian Defense Ministry and role, if any, in the ministry’s nuclear program. Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi was quoted as saying by the official IRNA news agency that no signs had been found so far to suggest that foreign intelligence services were behind the murder. “What is certain is that Dariush Rezaie-Nejad was not involved in the nuclear issue. His assassination is ambiguous,” Moslehi said. “Operations by foreign intelligence services generally leave signs, but we have not found any signs in this terrorist act and we have not reached any conclusion on whether foreign intelligence services are behind it,” he added >>>
