Hats off to VOA and the Parazit team
by farrad02 on Sat Jan 29, 2011 08:22 PM PSTThey are producing one of the most innovative and cutting edge television programs in the Persian TV domain.
Congratulations and very well done!
And Hosseini was just another guest/segment. Don't judge the whole show by a single guest.

SouriSat Jan 29, 2011 03:56 PM PST

with all due respect, the man is not communicating, it's comical, a joke of an inetrveiw !

Suggestion to Kambiz
by Jeesh Daram on Fri Jan 28, 2011 10:56 PM PSTI hope Kambiz remembers how John Stewart praised him and his partner like a gentleman that John is and during the entire interview his facial and body language remained positive, supportive and cordial. I would like to suggest that when you interview someone try to avoid challenging them in an inquistion or depositon format and manner. I have seen your interview with the founder of Balatarin.com and few others and now this one with Mr. Hosseini. In all of such interviews I noticed that you keep pushing the guest to admit that they are either an adversary of IRI or some other confessions they have to make on an issue.
To make your show more popular try to support your guest by all means even if you disagree with his position on an issue. Politely agree to disagree. Do not corner them and if you do, it will make you look like a man on a catbrid seat. Don't make them regret their appearance on your show.
Finally, avoid repeating the phrases, such as saying several times "they have killed many lions" again and again. Your audience are not dumb! Also a lot of your material somehow has been printed on Iranian.com a few days or a week or two earlier! What is your source of information? Could you start giving credit to sources where you find the material at? This will be a great attitude rarely seen among many Iranians, to give and issue credit as where they get their material from, I think you will make a positive influence on your viewers in Iran, that giving credit to sources is a sign of civility.
Good luck
alaaf
by Doctor mohandes on Fri Jan 28, 2011 04:47 PM PSTOne does not need to be a professional videographer or anything of that sort to see a very Obvious, and in your face, nasty masty , motion that the dude made. He was simply taking advantage of the situation. Besides, How can one eidt a clip to make it look like a group , a huge group of at least 200 people are supporting a certain cause.
Seems like there is someone else here with the real vile agenda!
What a blast from the past.
by alaaf on Fri Jan 28, 2011 03:34 PM PSTWhat a blast from the past. We used to watch his quiz show on Tehran channel all the time.
btw, pathetic editing job on the disgusting clip of the guy brushing the lady in public. You don't need to be a video editing expert to know they've edited it to make it look like pro government supporters. VOA and Parazit have no shame using such vile material for their propaganda.
Sick men
by SIMONEH on Fri Jan 28, 2011 02:33 PM PSTPLEASE talk about these material even more, because that's the only way to educate and inform some sick men in Iran: You're sick, get help!
I remember this guy
by KingReza on Fri Jan 28, 2011 01:30 PM PSTHe used to host a couple of variety show back when I was in Iran. That was back in 1997
Thanks
by Jahanshah Javid on Fri Jan 28, 2011 01:03 PM PSTGreat show. Much better than some recent ones. Your "lion killers" segment was very touching. The interview with Hosseini was interesting. His face didn't ring a bell (I've been away form Iran too long) but I felt sympathy for him and all those good, honest, talented professionals who have to make the difficult choice between selling their soul or feeding the family. And thanks for the intelligent commentary on the sexual harassment of women in public.
