Victory is near

by Amir19 on

I tell you, victory is near and although my heart is sadden to see such lies put forth by this anti-Iranian, anti-humanity, and even anti-islam regime, but the outcry from the regime in the last 48 hours proves that they are sooooooooo scared of us. Let's be positive and fight on.

Nateq Nouri

by Shifteh Ansari on

Compared to the Haghani camp in power these days, clerics from the Combatant Clergy Association (Ro'haniat-e Mobarez) are moderates today. Nateq was one of the founders and leaders of the organization, but had basically refused to attend any of its meetings  for the past year.  Nouri had basically dropped out of all public activities since 2009. He was recently reported to be critical of the Ro'haniat-e Mobarez, because after he and his son were"defamed" publicly by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during the 2009 presidential debates on state TV, the organization did nothing to defend or support him.

It is remarkable and significant that he has come out and issued this statement. Mohsen Rezaei also made noises yesterday, supporting the arrests.

I believe that IRI is seriously worried about being overthrown now. Any and all old guards have been made to understand that they should put their differences aside and join with the rulers to keep the system in power.

I believe they thought that 20 months of killing, imprisonment, prosecution, intimidation and torture had worked and that the "sedition" was truly over. I think Monday's turnout really scared them again. All of this is for all factions of IRI to "unite against their common enemy," which is none other than the vibrant and brilliant people of Iran.

The idiot...

knows that he could be added to the IRI's "Black List" (Mousavi, Karoubi and Rafsanjani) and he can't effort to lose his millions. He is trying to switch sides.

Turning point

This is an important statement. Nategh-Nouri has been known as a moderate. Seems like 25 Bahman was too much for him to swallow and has decided to openly side with the regime by indirectly calling for Mousavi and Karroubi's prosecution.
