Not really right. Khomeini destroyed the heads of Iranian military but most of the bulk remained. How do you think Iran fought Iraq?  Of course the Iranian military was servery reduced in power but still significant.

Post war the RG became increasingly powerful. At the same time Iran got the "benefit" of battle hardened troops. As well as many badly hurt veterans. Arab nations have nothing. Don't fool yourself. They are no match for IRI troops. The only Arab nations with a real chance were Iraq before getting trashed; Egypt and Syria. None of which is in a position now to fight Iran. The tiny Persian Gulf states will have no chance against Iran. 

The only power in the region able to easily defeat RG is USA. They will have no problem. But if you think Qatar or Saudi is up to it you are mistaken.

Iran has no military!

Iran has no military anymore! Khomeini destroyed the military in 79 and replaced a proper and professional army with a bunch of thugs called the "Revolutionary Guards." They can't do anything. Remember the Iran and Iraq War? The Revolutionary Guards is a criminal organization! The small Arab countries own defense forces with their training and and much more advanced equipment can kick an Iranian Pasdar units collective ass quite easily! Those regimes atleast care about their people even thought they are tyrannies! The truth is a hard pill to swallow. Iran is the worst country in the Middle East. THE WORST! Can I fucking shout it any louder?

Apocalypse none

There will be no Apocalypse. If there is a confrontation the Islamic Republic navy will not last long. That is it and so long. No big deal; no major disruption but a lot of poor sailors will be lost. Unless they take my advise: surrender or run.

Yolanda may be right on pushing up oil prices. But the way to tell there is a real war is if US pulls out its navy from the Persian Gulf. Reason is US weapons have much better range. They could hit IRI ships and missile sites from the Indian Ocean. But the ships are vulnerable while in Persian Gulf. Hence if they really want to shoot it is safer to move them out of IRI range. Watch for that; if you see it happen you know that a shooting fight is possible. But I doubt it will get to there. 

HTG how far do you think lies will work?

I mean they are riding an entire nation as a priest class communicating on behalf of god for us all, not to mention no person can even fire them.  What is their strategy?  BS all the way to the finish line.  It's so humiliating to have Iran associated with these con artists.

If these guys some how start a war using their rubber ducks and inflatable dingies, which somehow indirectly causes a defeat for the USA, through a world war, I'll give up and start praying, then and only then will jaded be appropriate.

In the last stages of Iran-Iraq War, Iranian & US navies clashed

for a few moments. And I mean a few moments, less than an hour. The result:

Almost half Iranian Navy was destroyed.

That was just one encounter, very limited and finite.

Currently Persian Gulf is packed with the most advanced weaponry from US, France, England, Israel,...

Just how many minutes anyone thinks IR's Navy is going to last?

I give them less than an hour.

IR is pinnign all its hope on blocking Hormoz and thus distrupting the world economy, but even such sabatoge has its limits, and at the end of the day its just an idiotic tactic. IR lacks lack any strategic plan, depth, substance.
