Globalpost.com: Six months into the continuing violent crack down by security forces on the uprising in Syria, which the UN now says has killed more than 2,200 civilians, President Bashar al-Assad’s main ally, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, appears to be getting concerned. In a rare, direct intervention in the internal affairs of Syria – an arena Damascus is always telling the world it has no place in meddling – Ahmadinejad on Wednesday called for a dialogue between the Assad regime and the protesters. "The people and government of Syria must come together to reach an understanding," he told Hezbollah-run Al Manar television >>>

Ahmadi Nejad
by Khebedin on Sun Aug 28, 2011 04:37 AM PDTI never hated this guy, but never voted for him either. But since his dare decisions to remove the subsidies and actual removal of the subsidies, and a much better distribution of wealth, particularly, amongst the less fortunate ones, I began reviewing my thoughts. I liked this interview and found it very interesting, not that I believe in everything he says, but he is dare enough to speak his mind and views. Suggesting discussions to all involved in the area and those against him. I can’t understand those rejecting him out right, I consider them unwise, ill thought and pretty much like the MEK bunch, with a chip on their shoulder. I am beginning to like Ahmadi Nejad, though I know without the support of the top man, he is the under dog. I think people should support him. No prime minister since 1979 dared to even discuss the removal of the subsidies, despite having much better opportunities than he had.
Say No to 'Idols'
by Tavana on Sat Aug 27, 2011 12:00 PM PDT'Freedom' & 'Life' are the 2 most precious GOD's bestowed 'presents' to us. The GOD's messangers all came with the same calls of prohibiting 'idols' worshipping & of the humans liberations from any sorts of slavery. This interview is therefore not worth watching as there is a framed portray of 2 'Images' sitting next to AN and as he always begins his talks invoking a 'hidden' holy not believed about by 90 or more per cents of Muslims worldwide!

Why don't u take your own advise and stop killing your own people, and sit down with your oppostion and listion to what they want, freedom and peace. That would make sense to me. ************************** Well-said! Raymond!
