Hospital Dumps Patients in Field

Head of Imam Khomeini hospital denies involvement

Two Imam Khomeini Hospital patients were abandoned in the fields around Tehran last week. Reports and photographs of the story were widely published. This is a report on state tv in which head of the hospital acts like a typical government manager, saying he knew nothing about it and has fired the six people involved.

Reality check for the West-residing IRI Groupies on this blog

by AMIR1973 on

For the West-residing IRI Groupies who think this is no big deal and happens "on a daily basis" in L.A.: IRI is ranked NOT even in the top 100 among countries in terms of either life expectancy or infant mortality. Many countries much poorer than the IRI, including some in the Middle East, have better life expectancy and infant mortality than the IRI, a country with the 2nd biggest natural gas reserves and 3rd biggest oil reserves in the entire world (not to mention the support of all Twelve Emams):

Islam - e naab-e mohamadi

by Anonymous Observer on

no one is left behind.  Everyone is cared for...LOL

Of course, no one would be shocked to see such a thing in a capitalist system such as the U.S., but an Islamic nation...in a country that floats on oil...
Jason is right.  One generation ago, Iranians poured onto the streets like crazed monkeys to get rid of the Shah...and replace him with this!

Shame, shame, shame...

our countrymen !

by tehran e Azad on

Unfortunately  a strong majority maybe 60-70 percent of iranians are nothing but a bunch of animals stuck in the middle ages and as a result do not deserve better than an animal like Khamenei. They feel right  at home!!!

Iranians Betrayed The Shah and look at what they accomplished

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

This is what it means to be an islamic Country.

Iranian or Persians who made the country great are rolling in ther graves at this generation and their niave hope for the creation of a republic, blaming all of irans flaws on the one thing that made iran great, the monarchy.

As if a cosmetic change in the government would remove the flaws of the iranian people.

Shah was truly Aryamehr, light for noble people, and I think he showed Iranianias that are noble clearly what they could accomplish as a secular monarchy, for themselves and the world.

Iran is clearly not yet capable of being more free and democratic than when shah governed iran.  Dreams are fine, but we need to keepat least onefoot on the ground if we don't want to fall hard again.

Name says it all. Emam Khomeyni ... there is no surprise in that.

Bare in mind Hezbollah tansfers injured lebenese hezbollah to Iran for trartment where they think iranian (persian) blood is NAJIS and they prefer to die. Yet our health system FAILS !! to even take care of its own people.Iran is sitting on vast Oil and Gas reserves and this is the way nation is running.

Their own fault

by MRX1 on

The two should have told  the hospital that they are indeed Palestenians not Iranians and as such they demand and entitled to the best health care possible  and citizen of shkeikhy republic has to pay no matter the cost.

Shifteh Ansari

This could and does happen in a lot of places, but...

by Shifteh Ansari on

None of those places are an ideological state, supposedly based on Islamic principles, bearing "Islamic" as a part of their name.

The US continues to fail its most vulnerable citizens, I agree. But so what if US and other countries fail their citizens? Does that justify the Islamic Republic's failing its citizens? Iran is a very rich country. If managed properly, Iranians should all be insured; they should all be able to go to school; they should all be able to work and earn a decent living.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has turned Iran into a corrupt country, where the government takes people's money and spends it in areas of no interest or benefit to its people. We have high illiteracy rates; primary, middle, and high school drop-outs; drug addiction; theft; corruption; and many other social maladies, placing Iran lower and lower on the lists as compared to other nations of the world.

Iran and Iranians are hostages to the mullahs and the IRGC which has operated drug, arms, and human trafficking through Iran, while destroying Iran's private sectors and industries through receiving preferential treatment in tenders and government contracts.
All of this, and this fascist government also persecutes, maims, kills, and prosecutes its citizens if they so much as write a blog or stage a peaceful protest.

Compare the ills of Iran with the rest of the world all you want, but there are few governments that have ALL the ills in one place like the Islamic Republic does.

You have some nerve. If these were Palestinians being dumped into fields by Israelis you would jump on your soap box and start your Jew hate rant. Why you are so indifferent to people of your own race is beyond me. You are truly despicable.
