Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani was originally acquitted of murder but was charged with the "crime" of adultery. She was lashed 99 times and put on the IRI's death row (a number of women have been executed by the IRI for the "crime" of adultery). After the case got a lot of attention, the IRI said she was also guilty of murder. I could tell from Charlie's introduction that this time around, unlike others, he knew exactly just what he was heading for,. I Kinda also agree with Demo. This was such an annoying way of Presenting anything and she did a rather poor job of doing it.

I really wished that the camera would take a close shot at that freaking phonebook he had brought with him to see just what was written in there. Charlie should have beena bit more inquisitive on that regard. he also broke a record i think by "let me ask you a question" line this time. He used to wait until half way through the process at least.

O Brilliant (not), Lying Sargord, is adultery a capital crime in the U.S.? What kind of savage regime makes adultery grounds for execution? Good interview

He started out a bit slow, but then did well afterwards.

The best part was his exchange over the Palestinian peace process. He clearly held the upper hand.

And the introduction of a woman being executed in the US for basically the same offense as the woman in Iran was brilliant.

I'll watch the second half when I have more time. It's time to help out the kids with their math homework...

What a joke

Unwatchable

There is no way in the world an interpreter with such an annoying voice could simultaneously translate AN's words as he talks unless the questions had already been given to him in advance & the whole thing had been practiced beforehand. The interview then becomes like a theatrical act titled “AN & Rose Caught Red Handed” worthless of watching any of it.

Ahmadinejad sounds and looked desperate, he is clearly under pressure from his bosses to have come here and beg US and west for mercy. Looks like these targeted sanctions are hearting the big bosses in Iran, especially the top brass in Sepah, and fat Ayatollah's.
