DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE NEW DEVIL IMPERIALIST'S SMILE. They are like IRI, and the americans like shah. you choose either or none! I like the americans ten times more than these kasifayeh cockroach eaters!

They are taking over the world and they are fooling us with these few words and a fake smile! I know them better! At least the Americans are more good looking with class and they believe in god! These guys only know money and they don't give a damn about iran or iranians, they just want our oil and gas (as the others do).

May god help us! ENGHADR BADBAKHT SHODIM KEH IN DAAHAATIA OOMADAN TOMOON BEKONAN! WHY WHY WHY! IRI has really destroyed our nation. AZ SOOSMARKHOR MIRIM BEH MAGAS KHOREH KOON NASHOOR! My answer is clear by choosing to live in the US!

GOOD AND BAD TAAROFE

We should make a distinction between the good and bad part of the taarofe. The good part is when someone is taarofing you to eat the good stuff (like pastry) and no way you can say no. The bad part is those empty taarofe (chaploosi) that one keep dumping on you because he/she wants something from you.

I really feel for your ex husband. I was born and raised in Iran and still have a hard time following the taarof. I dont know how he could do that? It's really embarrasing when you cant be as fast as them in say the greeting words.

You know how when you are in an Iranian family gathering and you want to say Goodbye, it takes forever.  After few years of our marriage, my American born ex was doing that. He was doing the long goodbyes in the mehmanees but he still had trouble saying a very loud and clear and "bahaal" salam to everyone when he first saw them in the party. You know how Iranians are sensitive to make sure that they receive a very honorable and respectful salam in a party from each and everyone.

Taarofe ziadi

One of the bad thing about getting together with Iranians is their Taarof. Sometimes it's impossibe to get off the phone when you're talking to an Iranian. It takes 10-15 minutes to say goodbye and you still can hear them when you hanging up the phone.

Someone should tell him that all those are the empty words. Iranians just say them without thinking of their real meaning. Just some air in the winds. They don't believe a word of what they say as the compliments.  Wish he could visit our site to learn a bit more :)

The good behavior of the people, warms our heart and make us thankful.....  And the bad ones, just make us to recognize and appreciate the good ones!

Those who came for our oil in early decades of the twentieth century learned a word or two in Farsi as well. It's a game played by the invaders! Always. 

Never increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.
