by Setareh Cheshmakzan on

لطفا اول بگویید که ستار خان و باقر خان چه شخصیت هایی در تاریخ ایران هستند، شاید این پرسش شما را پاسخ دهد!!!

I am not sure if people on

by A careful citizen (not verified) on

I am not sure if people on this video are happy about sharing this with the whole universe.
Just because Youtube is there and posting is free, we should not share a personal video with everyone. Not that I did not like the content of this video, however protecting privacy of people should also be considered when posting a private video.

The first part was very pleasant and memorable. My objection goes only to the wedding party.

Anti Islam people

by Crouton (not verified) on

Islam is a part of Iran's culture. No matter how much you hate that here in the US, you have to accept it.

Iranians in Iran cherish and embrace Islam.

Just because you don't want to, does NOT mean that it is the wrong thing that people do it in IRan.

What people do in their own homes is none of anyone's business. It's called FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Anyone who does not understand and accept that is really beesavad and khar.

Wish them luck but

it was better to have an Iranian wedding, not an islamic or Arabic one. I'm sure bride does not know the MEANING of the Seeghe that the Mullah read to her!!!!!

Thanks Ghormeh Sabzi.  This

Thanks Ghormeh Sabzi.  This Rashti girl really appreciated this clip!  The lagoon, river, market and hearing Gilaki spoken.   I loved the aghd ceremony.  She scored!  I should have gone back to Rasht and gotten married.  I would have gotten sekehs and jewelry and a cool elderly man announcing family members.  Instead here I got pyrex, a pepper mill and a DJ who couldn't pronounce anything.

Thanks for sharing.

Ghormeh Sabri: Do these people volunteerly put their wedding video on line, or they are not even aware of it? Or do we even care?

Anyway, it seemed like a lovely wedding.

Good luck to the bride and the groom :-)

poor choice of music for the wedding

by persi (not verified) on

I wonder if the Arabic music was superimposed on the video or if it was part of the wedding ceremony-- but either way, two thumbs down. First the rhythm was too mellow, and second, who really understands the lyrics??? Are they appropriate?

The gift announcer was too enthusiastic for the bride's relatives, but not the groom's. Couldn't she be a little more friendly and diplomatic?
