You are so cool and kind!  And as Holly once commented, one sane well-rounded individual on IC.

Happy New Year my friend.

Monda

by Ari Siletz on

Just confirmed us as reciprocal idols. I understand, as of today, Facebook theology allows up to 6.7 billion mutually worshipping entities. Happy New Year.

Monda

Ari, I didn't find Rox on FB!

by Monda on

Would you please send me the link to her Fan Club?  Thanks a bunch!

Monda

Ari can I add you on my FB?

by Monda on

Since you are one of my idols on IC?

Red Wine

...

by Red Wine on

Just nice voice... nothing else.

P.S : She is not my Iranian of the day.

Thank you .

Ari Siletz

Became her fan on facebook

by Ari Siletz on

Wonderful talent. If this young Iranian's Persian heritage doesn't show yet, it's up to us to invite her interest. Nice job welcoming this treasure, Ghormeh Sabzi.

obama

Who cares if she has persian sperm in her! She is not Iranian!

by obama on

Sperm doesn't make one part of a culture. If you do not identify with persian culture, your are not one! It is obvious she is a very talented singer with a culture and language that has nothing to do with Persians.

I never understand why some get so excited saying oh she is half persian! Is she an astronaut? ENGAAR KEH MAA EHSASEH KAM BOOD DARIM! We need her to make us feel somebody! How pitiful. What happened to our self esteem? C'mon guys, you know you are better than that!

Let me now go and read about a real story that would impact our lives and the lives of millions of iranians!

Iraniandudeee

How's she Iranian?

by Iraniandudeee on

Well, her fathers Iranian/Persian, but she didn't even mention that she was half Iranian? So why would you put her up as the "Iranian of the day?"

 Come on!

"You should not be afraid of the ideology but of the determination and will of the men behind it"

"A drowning man is not troubled by rain" Persian Proverb

Monda

mannya2001, Honestly Rox Rocks!

by Monda on

I love the natural quality of her voice, I love the way she feels and expresses through her music and body. Well she moved plenty muscles in mine Bud and that's what matters to me. Now you're entitled to your opinion. Don't call my feedback dishonest.

BTW she's got nothing less than Hill.

mannya2001

Monda , what talent???

by mannya2001 on

what talent do you see in her??

she was put on this site simply because of her "iranian" background which she totally ignored.

2. You want talent and voice, go and listen to Lauren Hill from Fugees.  That is what this unoriginal character is trying to be like

3. her songs didn;t even move one muscle in my body.

4. BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF. that is the least you can do.

Monda

mannya2001,

by Monda on

I am proud of her for her wonderful talents, wether she considers herself half Iranian or not is none of our business.  Cultural Identity is very personal matter.  I bet she positively knows that she was born from an Iranian parent.

mannya2001

She didn't even acknowledge her iranin background

by mannya2001 on

she mentioned her jamacain n her christian background though.

enough said.  jamaica over iran and we're proud????

Faramarz

Our DNA is Spreading Too Fast!

by Faramarz on

Great Voice and Charming Personality. You Rock, ROX

But as a side note, I have noticed that there are more and more people with Iranian genes popping up all over the world. At this pace, we may not get our own country back soon, but I am sure that we will take over the Western World in a decade or so!

This may create some challenges though. There will be so many Iranians of the Day that poor Ghormeh Sabzi has to work overtime. He may have to go to a new concept, Iranians of the Hour. And come think of it, I don’t really want to see billions of us everywhere. I like it better now when there are a limited number of us. We are kind of unique and mysterious! I like that!

So my brothers and sisters, please slow down a bit.

Banafsheh Zolfaghari

Fantastic

by Banafsheh Zolfaghari on

Proud of yet another Iranian woman.  May she be blessed with health and much success this New Year.  Thanks for sharing.

payam s

mannya2001 you're a joke

by payam s on

She was beautiful, talented, and a human being. Not an "Arian", "Persian", or some stupid nationalist like most of the Iranian diaspora. But simply a person.

Thats a beautiful thing.

Monda

Lovely and Powerful All Around!

by Monda on

I can't wait to hear her album and I'm sure I'll see her on stage soon!

yolanda

.....

by yolanda on

A pretty girl and glamorous singer. She really reminds me of Sade. It is interesting that she talked her dad a lot, but never mentioned her mom once.

Congrats to Roxy and others of this New Generation we are all eager to see Fly with their own wings.

What a wonderful singer. Lovely voice, full of soul and passion, gorgeous woman, absolutely First Class.

She will go very far.

mannya2001

another example

by mannya2001 on

2. another example what might be awaiting diaspora born generation.

"Daddy , daddy"
