Calling Rafsanjani a shark is the result of mistaking two homonyms by translators.

He is being called "Akbar kooseh" in a derogatory fashion, for his lack of facial hair; while the same word "kooseh" means "shark".

Nobody actually cares what these guys are called, it's only important to know what they really are; but I felt this clarification is owed to the schools of sharks in the ocean.

Paul Klebnikov, who wrote the incindiary piece, "Mullah Millionares," was assasinated a couple of years ago. He was also no friend of Putin, and wrote many scathing articles about Russia's oligarchy. So, this courageous journalist had a target on his back, by way of Putin AND the IRI. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the two dictatorships worked together on the Klebnikov "hit," the mafia bastards that they are.

I also wish they had shown his wife, who is one of the rudest meanest looking women I have ever seen. There's a video of her on youtube from the summer and it is horrifying. I can't imagine anyone being married to her but this evil guy Rafsanjani.
