re:chert or pert
by rustameiran on Thu Dec 31, 2009 03:54 AM PSTWhat I said before is true and there are other tales as well, but since there are people like you around, it's not worth it.I don't want to start an argument, too tired to do that...as you said "it's crisis time"!!..idon't know why you got personal!! is he your uncle and does he bankroll you too?? I have seen the last revolution so I do know what I'm talking about unlike you forming your ideas from CNN and FOX news!
rutameiran, you have written much chert va pert, congratulations
by Anahid Hojjati on Thu Dec 31, 2009 03:27 AM PSTTo rustameiran: your story as excerpt below is good fiction. This is crisis time for Iran and it is not time to write chert va pert like this:"
I remember it was the early days after the revolution when Rafi appeared on tv...my dad suddenly remembered him!!( My ancestral house was near majlis and my dad was bacheye mahal). He said that Rafi was a hired killer and racketeer(getting protection money) and used to stab people for a small fee like Abe goosht and chelo kabab in and around the Tehran bazaar!! "
re: 7 Tir
by rustameiran on Thu Dec 31, 2009 03:06 AM PSTif I remember correctly Rafi was at the meeting but for some mysterious reason he left early!! That was the first coup by this bunch...they got rid of more senior relatively moderate figures, had a reason to supress, arrest, rape and kill people by the thousands in their new found power! Rafsanjani will not talk now, because he knows by doing so he'll be writing his own death warrant!

So All these characterss have no great religious learnings and got to where they are now by talking chert o pert to ignorant masses. Everyone of my close people of my dad's generation predicted what's happening now. our generation didn't know it and that's why are suffereing as a result. These creatures are truly a mafia mob and should be dealth the way any mafia is dealth with!!
He is irrelevant now and silence is his only option
by Hovakhshatare on Wed Dec 30, 2009 10:23 PM PSTWhat worked for him and kept him in power for most of 30 years was his keen ability to play all sides against each other and rise from the middle as the power broker. That is more or less what he has done so far so his silence makes perfect sense as he hopes that he can be the most 'practical' middle option. He is dearly mistaken this time as his MO does not work in a real crisis and he knows it now because he did not grasp the depth of the crisis early. Silence is his only option as he has limited options for going outside of Iran (Mykonos is a factor), if he opens his mouth IRR will get him before Mousavi or kahroubi, and if he keeps his mouth shut, he has no future with the movement. Shark has no teeth anymore.

by yolanda on Wed Dec 30, 2009 02:26 PM PSTThe guy is a straddler! When AN/Khamenei have upper hand, he sides with them; when green movement and people have upper hand, he sides with people.....he seems to be a chameleon.......he always wants to have his job.....lets see how long he lasts this time...
