Here we go!

Another lost iranian in France is upset because Amir Talai is in his words just "another iranian actor who plays Hamas members, hijackers and sometimes mexican L.A. cops."

Khoobe ke he provided his IMDB page, where is fourth most recent credit is playing an IRS agent named Mike Scully. And in the great underrated comedy the Comeback he had a prominent role playing a hip Hollywood TV writer who was driving Lisa Kudrow's (Phoebe from Friends) character nuts.

Just 2 examples of roles on his long list of credits that are neither a terrorist or a mexican cop. And even if he plays those roles, so what? He is an ACTOR!!! Are you going to fault Al Pacino for playing a Cuban drug dealer? Or Robert De Niro for playing a crazy cab driver?

Movies are full of stereotypes for ethnic minorities. Look at African Americans. For years they had to play roles of maids and slaves before theer were enough actors, writers and directors who paved the way for future leading men like Sidney Poitiers and Denzel Washington. Today, the biggest box office star in Hollywood, bigger than Tom Cruise, bigger than Harrison Ford, bigger than George Clooney or Brad Pitt is... Will Smith.

We are takign steps, little by little. Give it time and don't be hatin' so much!
