حقوقدانان، تاریخ نویسان و فعالین سیاسی دنیا ارزش تاریخی اعلامیه استقلال ایالات متحده آمریکا را از ابعاد مختلفی تحلیل نموده و با بررسی های عمیق، بطور مفصل آن را کالبد شکافی کرده اند. ولیکن آنچه که تا به امروز ناگفته باقی مانده، آنچه است که شاید در این مقطع از زمان، برای آیندۀ ایران سرنوشت ساز باشد بطوریکه سنجیدن بهای این سند تاریخی معنای دیگری به تلاش ایرانیان برای رسیدن به آزادی دهد>>>

یکی از بزرگترین معضلات اجتماعی ما فعالیت بانوان در عرصه ی هنری است. به خصوص در زمینه هایی که بعد اجتماعی فراگیرتری دارد از جمله بازیگری و خوانندگی. بر خلاف عده ای از دوستان که معتقدند انقلاب باعث محدودیت بیشتر خانم ها در چنین عرصه هایی شده است من معتقدم قبل از آن چارچوب سنتی و تفکرات قرون وسطایی بعضی از مردان جامعه و در پاره ای از موارد زنان جامعه باعث این محدودیت ها شده بود>>>

در ماه های گذشته، هر آیت الله و امام جمعه و شیخ و ملایی، و هر به اصطلاح نماینده ی مجلسی، و هر سیاستمدار و متفکر مذهبی وابسته به حکومتی میان حرف هایش از چیزی به نام «هویت اسلامی» سخن می گوید و تاکید می کند که: «هویت ما اسلامی است و نه ایرانی». من در این جا سه نمونه از گفته های این افراد را که دو تای آن در نشریات رسمی دولتی منتشر شده و در واقع به نوعی تفکر کل حکومت اسلامی را مطر ح می کند برایتان می آورم:>>>

برایم جالب بود که بعضی دوستان به خصوص دوستان خارج نشین از این خواننده یک اسطوره ساختند. شاید اگر می شد صراحتا اعلام می کردند که چه اشکالی دارد که او معتاد بود؟ معتاد هم یک انسان است (که صد البته هست) همان قدر که هیتلر هم انسان بود. همان قدر که استالین و دیکتاتورهای فعلی انسانند! همان قدر که همه ی ما انسانیم و حق حیات داریم. اما آیا واقعا اعتیاد کاری شایسته و قابل توجیه است به صرف اینکه فرد مورد نظر در زندگی شخصی یا نوع تربیتش مشکلاتی داشته؟>>>

عکسی نشانم داد. عکس سیاه و سفید دخترکی چشم و مو سیاه که تولدش بود. پشت سر او پدرم ایستاده بود با یک زن. از این صحنه هیچ چیز یادم نمی آید جز حرف پدر که گفت این عکس توست و این زن هم مادر واقعی ات. هیچ یادم نمی آید چند ساله بودم ولی آنقدر عقل داشتم که بببینم آن دختر توی عکس من نیستم>>>
