by Anonymousaa (not verified) on Mon Jun 02, 2008 03:29 PM PDTMehdi: how did zoroastrians become muslims (through violent Islamic armies and threats, killings, and Heavy taxation)
Should we enforce the same rules on the Muslims to change their religion to Zoroastrian or other religion???
Thanks for the response

Ryan, King of Kings does not
by bp2 (not verified) on Mon Jun 02, 2008 03:22 PM PDTRyan,
King of Kings does not mean God of Gods and does not resemble Zeus. There is only one God the creator of Heaven and Earth.
Baha'u'llah is a Manifestation (Messenger, Profit) of God for this age.

Dear Ali P, In this Tablet
by bp2 (not verified) on Mon Jun 02, 2008 02:56 PM PDTDear Ali P,
In this Tablet Baha'u'llah refers to the station of King of Kings as on of His Titles,
Ye are but vassals, O kings of the earth! He Who is the King of Kings hath appeared, arrayed in His most wondrous glory, and is summoning you unto Himself, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting. Take heed lest pride deter you from recognizing the Source of Revelation, lest the things of this world shut you out as by a veil from Him Who is the Creator of heaven. Arise, and serve Him Who is the Desire of all nations, Who hath created you through a word from Him, and ordained you to be, for all time, the emblems of His sovereignty.
By the righteousness of God! It is not Our wish to lay hands on your kingdoms. Our mission is to seize and possess the hearts of men. Upon them the eyes of Baha are fastened. To this testifieth the Kingdom of Names, could ye but comprehend it. Whoso followeth his Lord, will renounce the world and all that is therein; how much greater, then, must be the detachment of Him Who holdeth so august a station! Forsake your palaces, and haste ye to gain admittance into His Kingdom. This, indeed, will profit you both in this world and in the next. To this testifieth the Lord of the realm on high, did ye but know it.
Baha'u'llah

king of the kings?
by Ali P. on Mon Jun 02, 2008 02:03 PM PDTTahirih:
Who is " king of kings"?
Is this a translation?
Persian Kings used to be called "Shaahanshaah"(King of Kings), because they had colonies under them, and therefore, King of India, supposedly, called King of Persia, his King, hence the explanation and justification.
I don't know very many Kings who consider Bahaullah their King (or is he their King, without them knowing it?)
Please elaborate.
Respectfully,
Ali P.
Dear Mehdi it may seem close to impossible,but.....
by Tahirih on Mon Jun 02, 2008 01:21 PM PDTWhen Jesus Christ was crucified he had only a handful of believers, look at them now! When Rassole Akram passed away ,how many really believed in his station? And also they lived in between people who wanted to destroy their teaching, wasn't that the case?
See what happened now , how many people on Earth believe in them! The same thing has happened in every dispensation and the resistance always comes from the divines of that period, since with every new dispensation there is this sense of losing thier power.
As far as Bahaullah's teachings, I am glad that you sensed their magnitude, but what do we expect from the king of the kings and the promised one of all ages? anything less would not justify the station of this Great Persian Prophet.
Too bad that we Iranians are very slow to recognize his greatness.
With regards,
Tahirih
Tough proposition
by Mehdi on Mon Jun 02, 2008 11:52 AM PDTEstablishing a new religion in the middle of this primarily Islamic society seem like an impossible task. I don't know how the Bahai religion has survived so far in Iran. I know during Shah there was quite a bit of religious freedom available but when the Bahai religion was established, wasn't the enviroment very heavy duty Islamic?
I just don't know how Bahai intends to survive and possibly expand. The 12 points that this lady is citing are so progressive that I think even the US government would have issues with it if it felt that the religion is growing to a significant level. I think expansion of such a religion seems like a very tough proposition.
