I've got this by email today. Maybe this video has been posted here before, but it is the first time I hear it. I thought it could be interesting  for some to listen to it, even for the second time. Although I don't fully agree with the point that this was the ONLY reason for his overthrown, but find this speech very interesting.

A little bit long, poor sound quality but listen to the end...

Reason why he was overthrown  .. 1979 was the date of for renewal of the agreement and he didn't want to renew:

Great post.

I personally think the Shah was overthrown because he lost touch with his own people. And a evil collaboration of many interests and forces took advantage of that separation (between the Shah and the people) and did him in!

God bless his soul! I think Shah meant well for his people and his country, but our "Suitcase Monarch" (as the British called him behind his back those days) lost touch and then got a big ego and all the power and staus that came with the flood of petro dollars in the 1970's went to his head, and then paranoia set in, causing a lot of good people, generals, and managers to be pushed aside.

Consequently, when the forces of darkness started to implement his downfall, he didn't have enough loyal and able people in critical posts to help him fight it off!

So, he lost control and then the final problem was that he didn't have the cahoonas to stay put, hold on to power and fight it off!

That's the history of what happened to the Shah of Shahs (in my view)!

I want to bring to your attention, what I had said some while ago, in a blog about Dr Shapur Bakhtiar. That was one of the most heated blog of 2008, which was very much informative. What I always believed about that so called revolution was this:

"Now,
what has been said really between the Shah and Bakhtiar and to what
degree they were agreed to the same goal, we have no idea. The only
thing I personally believe is, no matter what was their respective
goals, some other super power around the world, had their own agenda.

so the end, was already predicted. Of course this is my own vision."

The strategy of the West is always the same for the countries of the region. They bring a regim to the power, which will always serve their (the Cartels) purpose, no matter what is the shape and presentation  of that regime.

But, they are smart enough to create and protect an anagonist movement  against that regim for some while. Those two forces exist always in parallel in that same country, until the regim begin to be no more productive for the Cartels, then they will start to nourish the opposite movement against that regim, and then a new revolution and "ruz az no ruzi az no"

There was a lovelyl poem of Dr Majid Nafisy posted here, with the name "Nemikhahamat ey Naft"....It was so much connected to this thesis, in my eyes.

Thanks for sharing this. I have never heard this one before. One of the problems with the previous regime was the distance Shah had with his people. For example, take this video, how many were even aware of it?

This paved the way for the mollahs to make any lies they want on him and make them believable too.

I still remember the Pan-Iranist parliament member, whose name I don't remember, loudly saying, "I smell oil cartel concersium in all of this", in a rare parliament meeting aired on the radio. (ina hameh booye cartelaay nafti ro midan). This was in Azar of 1978.

Someone can help me to turn that red character to the black color? I don't know how to do it. It was originally red in that email I've got.

Over thrown of shah 1979

by malek_shoara on

It is crystal clear that both Reza Shah and Mohammad Reza Shah came to power by foreigners, but deep down in their heart they were very strong nationalist and as soon they become strong then started acting for favour of people in many different ways, off course, oil, weapons,Mosteshars, economy.so they get rid of them, the most important mistake was banding democracy,if they have not done that then the foreign country were not able to over thrown then because every overthrown must have the support of people other wise it is not happening.thanks and payandeh Iran
