So, I promised a lot of people last weekend, that I would send them a copy of the song that I wrote for my dad Ardavan Davaran. Well... here it is. I recorded it yesterday, and I think it came out pretty nice. I have also included the lyrics below. Thank you all so much for for attending my father's services. Ardavan Davaran was a professor of English literature in Notre Dame De Namur University in North California. In 1996 Ardavan edited an issue of Literary Review dedicated to Iranian literature in diaspora published by Fairleigh Dickinson University. He passed away on January 28, 2009.
