Islamic republic take note!

Without any economic incentive or the “heraasat” officers list in hand checking on the presence of their assigned number of employees, hundred of thousands of people from all walks of life willingly braved the frigid Washington weather to be present at the inauguration of their elected leader. His term of office at the most will be eight years and not a lifetime deal.  As per democratic tradition, the outgoing leader shook hand, embraced the new leader and faded away to enjoy the rest of his life.  No death to this or that was uttered, no stones or Molotov cocktails were thrown at any embassy, no national flag of other countries desecrated. There were no suicide volunteer sign up kiosks or headband wearing foaming at the mouth student-louts roaming around.   Except occasional grimace due to the biting cold not a unhappy face to be found.

first thing oama did was to

by kind david (not verified) on

first thing oama did was to install :

rahm emanual , his father is irgun terrorist , thats why rahm himself was named after a famous irgun terrorist , he is israeli citizen and and forgien soldier , he left usa and went to isreal to served with IDF during gulf war , thats when america was fighting iraq , thats shows where his loyality is ..

biden , he said he is a zionist , (thats when even zinoist never call themselves that !!)he said : you dont have to be a jew to be zionist , again that shows who they work for , its not for america ...

obama voted for bail out , meaning bilions of dolar money printed from thin air to pay those few jewish bankers .. this result in devalution of world currency = dollar so everyone of us paid to those bankers , thats against our will , so he is not working for america either ..

thats the CHANGE we can BELIEVE in !

I don't see what this has to do with the subject matter here. Moeover, you asked me this question before, and I prvoided you with an answer. However, here it is again:

No, I do not support IRI. I support a secular democratic republican system with a parliamentarian structure. I personally, if given a choice, vote for a Social Democrat candidate. But whoever people chose as president, will be my president. Be it Reza Pahlavi or Shirin Ebadi, as long he/she is ELECTED by the people and in four years is up for re-election!

I have never voted in the IRI, because I don't find their elections fair. I agree with some of their foreign policies and disagree with some and if there is a DEMOCRATIC alternative to it (as in a referendum), I would vote for its alternative. However, if Iran is under attack by bullies like the U.S. or Israel, I will support IRI.

Ajam: Why do you support

Ajam: Why do you support IRI's foreign policies? What is your rationale behind it given the new adminstration in the US?

Volume, volume, volume!

by Ajam (not verified) on

If you hold up a liquor store, you're an armed robber and a jail bird, but if you’re head of NASDAQ and rob investors out of $50B, you get house arrest in your $20M Manhattan condo!

If you molest ONE child, you are a child molester and go to jail, but if you molest THOUSANDS of children systematically, the church would bail you out with $200M.

If you plant an IED and blow up a tank, a Humvee or shoot a home-made rocket and kill a handfull of people, you are a terrorist, but if you throw nuclear bombs on covilians or systematically use napalms and chmical weapons, killing hudreds of thousands of civilians, you are the land of the free, the land of the brave, and may GOD bless you!!!

Shouldn't it read "IRANIANS take note"!!

It's difficult to build on a foundation that is ruined.

The people re staging Imam

by ... (not verified) on

The people re staging Imam Khomeini's call that was made more than 30 years before. At the touristic upscale Dizin resort of all places! The fact is the vast majority of Iranian people are behind their revolution.

If that is true then they also have to suffer the consequences of their beloved IRI's foreign policies.
Hope they are ready to destroy their country for the sake of their militan and perverse religion.

Others are running the show

Some naiive people think that majority of people voted for IRI,but they are wrong.Super powers behind closed doors deceided what kind of government should be running Iran and a religious government was what they choice.

Uncle Sam doesn't chant "Death to..."

by AnonymousYaroo (not verified) on

It just drops the bombs that bring death to millions. The worst Iranian fanatic (Khomeini, Khalkhali, Khamenei, etc) has killed fewer civilians than one of American's most "liberal" (in terms of domestic policy) post-war presidents, Lyndon Johnson (the U.S. killed an exponentially larger number of civilians in Indochina under "liberals" Kennedy and Johnson and right-winger Nixon than all the fanatical Muslims in the world combined). The U.S. government is and will always be the enemy of all humanity. Now, it's time for Uncle Sam's rent-a-crowd propagandists and apologists on Iranian.com to defend their paymaster.

not true:

by Anonymous10 (not verified) on

You are disillusioned or just uninformed Shahriar Jan. This lie, that rallies and demonstrations in Iran are staged and that there are government rent-a-crowds, has swept through Iranian exiles and oppositions groups since probably the revolution. People who are not at all familiar with contemporary Iran and have not been there anytime in the last 30 years (especially the 80s).

This lie has been again and again disproved. The people who come out every year at 22 Bahman, the tens of millions, come WILLINGLY. Nobody is brought in or forced to go. I was at DIZIN ski resort this time last year and I recall much to my surprise listening out the window at night, the chants of Allah-u-Akbar, that swept through the snowy mountainous valleys. The people re staging Imam Khomeini's call that was made more than 30 years before. At the touristic upscale Dizin resort of all places! The fact is the vast majority of Iranian people are behind their revolution.

Something I will never forget was the funeral of Imam Khomeini. This in my mind was one of the most spectacular moments in history. There were probably over 10 million people who went from Mosalla to Behesht-Zahra. It was an outpouring of GENUINE emotion and sentiment.

Meanwhile the people in the opposition can continue their crazed conspiracy theories and Islamphobia. The only outcome this has and has had is to strength the Islamic Republic. Even the recent BBC survey of Iranian has shown that around 94% of Iranians acknowledge their right to nuclear energy and it also said that less that 1% of Iranian had said that the most important issue facing the nation was a lack of democracy or need for political reform!

sorry that your positive post

by Anonymous commentor (not verified) on

is tainted with negative comments. don't worry, the days of the nay-sayers are numbered. isn't it an incredible phenomenom that we, as a people, can actually vote for who we want to lead this great country! we CAN burn flags if and when we want without fear of prosecution or death.

nope. this is a new day. if you don't want to go where obama is going to take us, get out of the way. we're coming through and nothing anyone can say is going to stop this great country from regaining her pride. if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Good lessons

Not to break the news and mess up your party But there were no death to this or that because the ones they want killed are already buried, and counting!!

I assume similar to many news medias you rather get rid of those who talk about it rather than those who commit the act!!
