Islam promotes oppression

Let's be honest and mature for once, Islam offers peace only if you "submit" to Allah's commands (a slave/master relationship). If you don't submit to the Wise one, then living under the rule of Islam can be Hell on Earth, literally. Case in point, the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Sure, it's politically correct in the Obamaworld to be kind to Islam and Islamists of all pedigree, but if you analyze the Koran without being afraid that Allah will turn you into a piece of stone, then you will see that Islam is nothing more than a man-made belief system, a bedouin belief system at that, with the purpose of mind control, written by 3 Jews and one of us, Salman Farsi, the first and most wicked traitor to the Iranian culture.

When are we Iranians going to wake up from our 1,400 year dreams of paradise and reclaim our true Iranian identity? I submit that the problems in Iran today are a symptom of our collective identity crisis.

And yes, the other two Abrahamic religions also have violent passages -- indeed, after all, all three religions (Islam, Christianity and Judaism) are semetic belief systems, the primitive (con)-man's answer to our fears. But at least the other two religions don't represent themselves deceptively.

Simply consider the following "peaceful" Islamic passages and decide for yourselves if you truly believe that Islam is sent from Heavan by our all-knowing, benevolent Creator.

“As for the man or woman who is guilty of theft, cut off their hands to punish them for their crimes.  That is the punishment enjoined by God.  God is mighty and wise.” [sura 5:37]

“Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it.  But you may hate a thing although it is good for you, and love a thing although it is bad for you.  God knows, but you know not.” [sura 2:216]

“MEN HAVE authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them.  Good women are obedient. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and forsake them in beds apart, and beat them.  Then if they obey you, take no further action against them.” [sura 4:34]

“Believers, retaliation is decreed for you in bloodshed: a free man for a free man, a slave for a slave, and a female for a female.” [sura 2:178]

“Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them.” [sura 9:73]

“BELIEVERS, MAKE war on the infidels who dwell around you.  Deal firmly with them.” [sura 9:123]

“As for the unbelievers, scalding water shall they drink, and for their unbelief woeful punishment awaits them.” [sura 10:4]

“But the true servants of god shall be well provided for, feasting on fruit, and honoured in the gardens of delight.  Reclining face to face upon soft couches, they shall be served with a goblet filled at a gushing fountain, white, and delicious to those who drink it.  It will neither dull their senses nor befuddle them.  They shall sit with bashful, dark-eyed virgins, as chaste as the sheltered eggs of ostriches.” [sura 37:37]

“God loves those who fight for His cause in ranks as firm as a mighty edifice.” [sura 61:1]

“Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and deal sternly with them.  Hell shall be their home, evil their fate.” [sura 66:8]

“SLAY THEM wherever you find them.  Drive them out of the places from which they drove you.  Idolatry is more grievous than bloodshed.” [sura 2:191]

“Prophet, rouse the faithful to arms.  If there are twenty steadfast men among you, they shall vanquish two hundred; and if there are a hundred, they shall rout a thousand unbelievers, for they are devoid of understanding.” [sura 8:62]

“Women are your fields: go, then, into your fields whence you please.” [sura 2:222]

“MUHAMMAD IS God’s apostle.  Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another.” [sura 48:29]

“When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly.  Then grant them their freedom or take a ransom from them, until War shall lay down her burdens.” [sura 47:1]

“When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them.  Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them.” [sura 9:4]

there isn't 1 law or tradition in Islam that can not be found in the Torah. Islam is a revival of the religion of Abraham and i am very confident i can bring u to task on this point. --but the question is do u really want to start a debate with me ???

Cost-of-Progress

Indeed, the Tazi book is full of hatred and violence,

by Cost-of-Progress on

Here's some more:

Bukhari:V4B52N220 “Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been made victorious with terror.”
Qur’an:8:12 “I shall terrorize the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them because they oppose Allah and His Apostle.”

Qur’an:8:57 “If you gain mastery over them in battle, inflict such a defeat as would terrorize them, so that they would learn a lesson and be warned.”

Ishaq: 326 “If you come upon them, deal so forcibly as to terrify those who would follow, that they may be warned. Make a severe example of them by terrorizing Allah’s enemies.”

Qur’an:8:67 “It is not fitting for any prophet to have prisoners until he has made a great slaughtered in the land.”

Ishaq: 588 “When the Apostle descends on your land none of your people will be left when he leaves.”

Tabari IX: 42 “We have been dealt a situation from which there is no escape. You have seen what Muhammad has done. Arabs have submitted to him and we do not have the strength to fight. You know that no herd is safe from him. And no one even dares go outside for fear of being terrorized.”

Ishaq: 326 “Allah said, ‘No Prophet before Muhammad took booty from his enemy nor prisoners for ransom.’ Muhammad said, ‘I was made victorious with terror. The earth was made a place for me to clean. I was given the most powerful words. Booty was made lawful for me. I was given the power to intercede. These five privileges were awarded to no prophet before me."

And this is the book that the children of Koroush and Dariush have been forced to abide by -  Forced by the sword, by blood of their children and by lies and deceit.

And Judaism doesn't:

<< Deuteronomy 7 >>
-------------------

Driving Out the Nations

When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations—the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you.

And when the Lord your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally.a Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy.

Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons for they will turn your sons away from following me to serve other gods, and the Lord’s anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you.

This is what you are to do to them: Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, cut down their Asherah polesb and burn their idols in the fire. For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

Islam and oppression are synonymous .

by javaneh29 on

Islam is one of the most oppressive 'religions' in the world at this time. But if you look back over history, haven't most religious groups been guitly of oppressive tactics in one form or another.

Christianty had its overtly brutal moments in the 'crusade' hay days and even now, which ever religion you care to name, attempts in suptle means to induce guilt, which is also oppressive.

Its the nature of individual man to believe he is right for himself..the problem lies in trying to inflict those beliefs upon others. In the hands of psychopathic tyrants such as  the situation in Iran, and most of the middle east,  religion gets mixed up in politics and then its  a dangerous weapon.

Really sad isnt it. It defeats the whole purpose of religion and faith.
