israeli Arab obsession on Iranian.com

As a Socialist and internationalist I have great sympathy with sufferings of all oppressed people of the world. From people of Tibet and muslims under chinese occupation, to Muslim chechneans under Russian occupation to people of palistine under israel occupation, to unemployed european youth unable to find himself a job, the list goes on....

Having got that out of way, I also believe that charity begins at home. Putting it differently, it would be the height of hypocicy for me to turn a blind eye on my compatriots' sufferings back home under the islamist regime, let alone trying to justify it, yet loudly scream for the rights of people of palistine, accusing anyone who questions my approach as a "zionist" or "mossad agent".

This is precisely what is happening here on this site. People seem to be polatrised and characterised -by design or otherwise- along the lines of "pro palistine" and "pro israel". Blog after blog is devoted to arab israel issue, with some comments crossing well into domains of KKK, Nazi Germany and alike...

What a shame indeed! Whilst our compatriots back home are being mass executed on a daily basis by a bunch of fascitic , out of control islamist maniacs, whilst our country is facing an environmental disaster of such proportions which would affect generations of Iranians to come, whilst the arrogant and dangerous foreign policy of the islamist regime is provoking every Tom, Dick and Harry to threathen our country with "military strikes", whilst the isalmsit elite is stealing our oil revenue at an unprecedented rate, all we can do on this site is to call each other "zionists", "jew ",Mossad agent" or "arab lover".

What a shame indeed......

Disenchanted: "you guys dont get it"

by Roozbeh_Gilani on

Precisely what it is that I dont get? I already explained my sympathy with palistinians amomgst others.

Sure, amongst certain fringe circles "arab palistinian issue" is a central theme, I have no doubt. But to claim that it is a "general obsession with everyone" could mean to lots of us that you are simply trying to reflect your own obsessions into real world.  In the real world where I live and work along with my arab, jew, chinese, german, american, you name it colleagues, when politics are discussed, in front of me, it always revolves around the central theme of the criminality of Islamist regime against it's own people. whereas on a site called "iranian".com, all we seem to be hearing from a vociferous minority is "jew this, Jew that, zionist this, zionist that, Israel this, israel that".

That was the point of my blog which you seem to be ignoring.

Mahmoud Abbas' Obsession

by Faramarz on

The ending of the occupation of the West Bank is a huge obsession of the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and the majority of the Palestinians who live there. The obsession with peace with Israel is so strong that they have come to terms with the fact that peaceful protest and negotiations based on 1967 borders (and mutually agreed upon adjustments) is the path forward, not terrorism or war.

Palestinian leadership has rigorously rejected any “help” from the Regime and has effectively told Rahbar and Ahmadi to stay out of their business. They even refuse to meet with the gang in Iran or take their money. They know quite well that going back to Khomeini’s time that all the crocodile tears coming from the Regime will not solve their problems but rather engulf the region in an ongoing war and devastation, just like the Iran-Iraq war.

But that should not stop the Regime and their supporters from their plan for the Palestinians. They know what is good for them. After all they have done such a marvelous job in Iran in the past 33 years that it should be a model for the rest of the Region!

Welcome Back

Roosbeh, for the most part, this obsession is limited to those who beat their chest for the mullahs and the anti nationalist regime.

This poster below, has started his own blog and immediately is prasied by one of the chest beaters.

This dude reminds me of this guy who called himself capitan ahab...claimed he was a college professor...I felt sorry for his students.

I believe it's him.

Back on form. The obsession with the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories is nothng but a distraction contrived by IR terrorists. What is really telling about these Palestinian sympathisers is that their knowledge of world affairs only extends to a few countries in the Middle East and the USA and Britain. Their humanitarian credentials are absolutely nill given their lack of objectivity and self-imposed ignorance of other countries whose suffering is as equal or even greater than Palestinians who occupy less than 10 percent of the Middle East. These include Muslim Sudanese ethnically cleansed by the genicidal Bashir regime in their campaign to Arabatize that entire part of the African peninsula.
What is hilarious is that some of them base their antagonism against Israel om grounds that they are 'American tax payers' which, although it cannot be denied that Israel is one of the largest recipient of US aid, the Palestinians also obtain 500 million US dollars annually as well as some of the most corrupt regimes in the world, especially Africa where international aid gets swallowed up in a black hole which then transoforms into gun money or is transferred into bank accounts of crook tin pot presidents. There isn't a single objection from our Pal residents of I.com who live in illegally occupied Mexican land from New Mexico to Nevada.
The Arab League, especially the United Arab Emirates has once again laid claims to three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf as well as campaigning for the removal of the Persian Gulf from all maps which has been supported not only by the Shia government of Iran but also other benefactors of the IR's generosity such as Hamas and Lebanon. This is not surpring because Arab countries, or countries which are culturally Arabic will vote what is in the interest of Pan-Arab policies. We are the only country in the world which has entered into hostilities with Israel at the risk of full nuclear anihilation for the sake of Palestinians who stand side by side with their Arab brethren on regional interests affecting Iran. There is no point reasoning with our pro-Pal I.com users whose fierce defence of Palestinians and animosity towards Israel bear all the wholemarks of indoctrinatiom of IR and Pan Arab propaganda or down right plain Jew hate. As Roozbeh said taking a principled position on the Palestinian issue or criticism of Israeli policies are entirely legitimate but is it healthy, as one user has done, in which he created a blog and kept a night and day vigil on how the UN General Assemnley will vote on the matter of Palestinian statehood? Is this a healthy attitude or plain madness?

Overthrowing IR Mullahs & Militarists!

by G. Rahmanian on

It's not only what IR is doing to Iranians, but also what it does to Iran as well. The regime must be overthrown whatever it takes before it destroys the whole country. Those who talk about disintegration of Iran in case Iranians use force against the regime are forgetting there won't be much of a country left if the regime provokes yet another war. Remember the prolonged war with Iraq, as a result of which Iran incurred more than six hundred billion dollars worth of material damages. The 8-year war left one million Iranians dead. Iraq was not even considered a military power.

The reason why they do this is to defelect from IRI's crimes and atrocities in Iran.  I call them IRI junkies.  They just can't help it.  I wrote a blog about it earlier today:
