The stupid

Hungarian refree took away their most obvious chance to score a penalty kick. Oezil Protected the ball so well, the Defender would not even have a chance in hell to actually hit the ball, that became SOOO clear in the slow motion, so he hits oezil and that was a fregging penalty.

One analyst in the Iranian TV believed that this refree guy was so completely in charge, since he did not have to issue that many warnings or flash any cards at anybody!!

I remember when Netherland wasn't aggressive (30 years ago) and they lost every time. Unfortunately you have to be aggressive in this kind of competition.

Actually Uruguayans were as agressive as Netherlands. They did all their best but they haven't the level for playing a final. It was a very beautifull match. Both teams played a good and open football. World cup is a long way competition.

Tomorrow would also be a great match.

PS: France and Italy has been big deception but now you have only European teams in competitions ;-) Vive l'Europe et que le meilleur gagne.

I think that Argentina lost because generally speaking, former players don't make good coaches.  Examples are numerous.  Klinsman, Dunga, Maradonna, etc.  That's my tow cents.  Argentina should move on and put a real coach in charge for the next World Cup.

This young German team of Turkish, Ghanaian, Tunisian and Brazilian immigrants stepped up to the challenge and surprised us all. You have to admire the Germans. When they put that uniform on, they put it all on the field.

At this point it is hard to say which European team will win it, but the Germans have the momentum.
