"I don’t know any case in history where diplomatic asylum did not
end in freedom for the person. I hope this will not be an exception in
history. Every country must respect the right of the country granting
asylum and the person who was granted it." - Julian Assange

Well said P_F
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Thu Sep 27, 2012 12:27 PM PDTThose who talk the talk where Iran is concerned - yet support policies
of the US government and its allies which presently has Julian holed up
in the Ecuadorian embassy in London and Bradley Manning being processed
through the US military gulag system - do not really walk the walk and
so believe in neither human rights nor democracy. They are merely
mouthpieces for the Empire and its imperial hubris around the world.
Those who pretend to be for Human Rights and Democracy, yet are mouth pieces for the USA have been having a great time condemning Ghadaffi/Assad and supporting the USA policy of support its own extremists to bring chaos into the lives of Libyans and Syrians, not Freedom or Democracy. Same nonesense is starting to go on with MeK and Iranians supporting them because the USA does. My heart goes out to the Iraqi's that were slaughtered and put in mass graves by Iranian MeK fighters on behalf of Saddam to keep him in power, those Iraqi's not only didn't see justice, they saw the USA reward the injustice/MeK team and we have Iranians praising US Policy of MeK Support.
Peacock_Feather The USA has rewarded inhumane criminals
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Thu Sep 27, 2012 12:10 PM PDTfar more than the IRI, nationally and internationally and is the founding father of filth like IRI, though the IRI does harm its own people more than the USA, if only by a hair. The reality though is no one, not even Julian can rebel for the sake of the Freedom the USA via hypocrissy steals from others in the world, enlghtening others to what is going on really is not the same thing as them being able to do a damn thing about it. The USA and IRI which the USA protects enjoy total impunity from justice as a result of the power behind them.
So are you a Secular Monarchist? I see you are new to IC, as I have not seen anything from you before. Based on your handle, the nickname Peacock is after all the name of the throne of Iranians. On what Iranians Face. //iranian.com/main/blog/amirparvizforsecularm...
And Sadly can't do anything about.
Yes PF, it IS difficult to understand
by Fesenjoon2 on Thu Sep 27, 2012 09:54 AM PDTIt IS. because people lie about what they represent.
Your honest answer is appreciated.
Yes
by Peacock_Feather on Thu Sep 27, 2012 08:45 AM PDTWhen I call the IRI fascist, that means I call its Supreme Leader a fascist too. Is that so difficult to understand?
But back to Assange and Wikileaks...
PF
by Fesenjoon2 on Thu Sep 27, 2012 08:40 AM PDTSo do you agree that Khamenei is a fascist? Or is your condemnation limited to just the govt of Iran? Please clarify. Because we have many Khamenei supporters here on IC that are anti-Ahmadinejadi.
Of course...
by Peacock_Feather on Thu Sep 27, 2012 08:42 AM PDTNaturally authoritarian/fascist states aren't happy with Wikileaks whether such states be the IRI or the USA. Neither the governments of the USA or the IRI have ever particularly been interested in either the truth or its advocates, let alone whistleblowers. Both exhibit their own forms of fascism. Both are ultimately serving the same nefarious fascist paradigm. But between the two, the USA is the worst Fascist of them all - and the greatest hypocrite of them all as well. The IRI is small potatoes compared to the USA in both departments.
that Wikileaks sword cuts both ways
by Fesenjoon2 on Thu Sep 27, 2012 08:36 AM PDTApparently, some people havent gotten the memo from Beyt-e Rahbari that Wikileaks is not to be trusted, as Wikileaks has revealed the truth about The Islamic Republic of Iran's illegal businesses:

They have in fact officially dismissed wikileaks:

Well said, Bavafa
by Peacock_Feather on Thu Sep 27, 2012 08:38 AM PDTApparently what you said also goes for this website which features this blog one minute and then unfeatures it in the next minute. You know who true believers of democracy and human rights are these days by their willingness to feature the plight of Julian Assange, Bradely Manning and Wikileaks. That is the real litmus test during these weird times we are living in. Those who talk the talk where Iran is concerned - yet support policies of the US government and its allies which presently has Julian holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London and Bradley Manning being processed through the US military gulag system - do not really walk the walk and so believe in neither human rights nor democracy. They are merely mouthpieces for the Empire and its imperial hubris around the world.
Apparently....
by Bavafa on Thu Sep 27, 2012 08:16 AM PDTMr. Assange and some other folks have not received the memo that Freedom of speech and publicizing conversations/speech that is said behind the door, is protected in US only and only if it is to the benefit of the US.
He is a very courageous person and a hero in the eyes of millions. He has done a great amount of good for humanity and democracy around the world.

Pussy Riot = US State Department Trojan Horse against Russia
by Peacock_Feather on Thu Sep 27, 2012 03:41 AM PDTIf the shoe was on the other foot and you had an artsy-fartsy middle-class punk group playing at being anarchists in the USA, shoving chickens into their private parts and having group sex on live camera in front of children, while committing a hate-crime within a church in front of the congregation, they would be disappeared into the American gulag system forever and no media would even hear about their case. There is no equivalence in the foreign-backed and orchestrated media stunt of these misled youngsters in Russia and the persecution of Julian Assange, Bradely Manning and Wikileaks by the American establishment.
Well that's more than what the Pussy Riots can hope for ...
