    It is pretty neat that your books are listed in different languages and in different currencies! Very cool! I am glad that Amazon promotes your books in different languages and makes them available to wider readers and audiences. It is just awesome!     I clicked on the 2 links you provided...... I noticed the LULU provides electronic version (E-book) of your poetry....that is great......some people love to read without touching the physicaL copy....some people love to own the book & take the book to the places that Internet/computer is not available.....I am glad that LULU offer both types of book......I like the olive green cover, too....

I previewd all the availabe pages...I noticed that you let people sample both the love poems and mystical poems......that is a great idea......lately I have previewed many books on-line, like Rumi poerty books...I feel that nowadays online book shopping is not much different from visiting a bookstore in the real world because of the preview feature.....

Thank you very much for sharing with us this new feature by Amazon that allows potential buyers to Preview several pages of the book - I'm glad that this feature has been activated for both editions of the book :)

I guess things are moving slowly, but steadily forward - Hopefully, the efforts gone into marketing and promoting this book, would in short order, bear some fruits - Maybe even a good harvest!

    A librarian friend of mine published her story on Amazon. Yesterday I noticed that Amazon added a feature that previews the inside content of the book....it is really cool 'cause you can read a few pages before you decide to buy the book. I think it can help readers a lot in judging the book. Have you seen that? Here you can preview the 1st few pages of the book including the table of content, preface, and 2 poems.....it is really cool! Please click on the "arrow" buttons

The statement regarding the royalties to an author is absolutely correct: The author generrally gets about 50% of the royalties he/she would normally get if the book is sold through Amazon, etc. :)

However, in return, the author would receive a much more Worldwide exposure of his/her book by having it listed on Amazon, etc. - It's really a trade-off!

Finally, I sincerely hope that many people would get the book, and get inspired by it :) This is truly a satisfaction for an author that no amount of money can buy!

    I agree with you that it is better to sell from the publisher....and booksellers like Amazon will definitely want commission for listing the books on-line........but the thing is that there are many publishers, but there is only one Amazon......from a customer's viewpoint, Amazon is one-stop shopping.....Amazon sells books from pretty much all the publishers under the Sun....Amazon also offers discount and free shipping for any order over $25....a couple of weeks ago, I checked Rumi's poetry books on Amazon and also on Barnes and Noble.......Amazon offers way better prices than B & N.......

  I think it is good idea to sell the books from the publisher and also on Amazon....

to sell directly from the Publisher - When third party retailers such as Amazon, etc.  get involved, the proceeds (royalties, etc.) to the Author tend to get halved!

Excellent!

I received the "Revised" copy which included all those additional twelve (12) pages :) - It's a very well done product, totally up to Industry Standards, and the poems are extremely inspiring :)

I hope other gifted writers at Iranian.com would follow suit, and publish their works also,
