Prof. Juan Cole at Informed Comment has a post regarding the revelation by Alastair Campbell that Ariel Sharon threatened to nuke Baghdad in 2002.

This is a MUST READ post as it puts the issue of the threats being made by Netanyahu into a totally different perspective.

If Israel sees the way out of this problem by using its nuclear capabilities, then they would not hesitate and they have the right ( selfdefence) to do so.
