To your safe return, Jafar

I have been always thinking about reasons so few have control over so
many. And how the bold are punished for speaking up about the
injustices. Is it something in our nature that forces us to be
attracted to the few who want to control us(no matter how evil they
are!) ? In any case, I wanted to shed light on one of those bold souls
whom I admire: Iranian director Jafar Panahi was imprisoned recently
for being bold. I am throuoghly influenced by his films the White
Balloon and the Circle. So, to your safe return Jafar.

I agree with you wholeheartedly.  Artists should support artists regardfless of their differences as freedom of expression is the only way we can grow and have civil discussions. I liked your post( a great reminder of his accomplishments)

I am surprised by the Iranian Film Communities lack of Reaction to this arrest. I hardly heard Aghdashloo, Googoosh, Golshifteh Farahani or Shirin Neshat React to this arrest.

Where Are these people when you need their support ?
