From Gun to Green

From Gun to Green

Simply, as a result of destruction growth happens, whether it is in nature or politics, in relationships or everyday struggles. But, I am inspired by and moved by my own past and I see the images and words and outright cries for change that I have heard before... I heard them when I was very young in 1978, in the same streets that they are shouted today. I am moved beyond words. My art can not possibly capture nor depict even a drop of such bravery.

your comments, saadat bahar.  It is my dream to have anyone have his/her own take on my work because if we all saw the same thing then we would indeed be very ordinary individuals! :)

Thank you Sir

...for the good artwork... I went over the top with the Nietzsche reference. The drawing in itself speaks to the contrary. Indeed from Gun to Green.

Thank you for the kind and insightful comments.  I remember the bravery and it moves me. I was not specifically going for Nietzsche but I do see your point. I simply look at nature and see that despite all the destruction something will grow. Always looking for the positive despite the evidence to the contrary.

thank you again,

"Creative Destruction" – very Nietzsche, who was widely read and celebrated in Nazi Germany for such concepts
